I booked my room a month ahead for a conference I planned to attend. Upon arrival today, I was informed that the elevator was out of service. Given my disabilities, I had requested a handicapped-accessible room, only to be told the first floor was fully booked. The second floor wasn’t an option either. Consequently, I had to rely on others to help carry my luggage up three flights of stairs, which was quite challenging for me. Additionally, the hotel's exterior hasn’t been maintained well; it requires significant yard work to regain a presentable appearance. To add to the frustration, the check-in attendant was unhelpful and abrupt when I inquired about our room situation. Given these experiences, I’m considering choosing a different hotel next time. It would be fair to receive a discount considering the difficulties I faced as a handicapped guest with a third-floor room.

My sister and I recently stayed a week here. The staff were amazing -- from the GM to front desk team to housekeeping and facilities team, they were attentive and went out of their way to make sure our stay was pleasant. The room was clean and housekeeping checked on us regularly for whatever we needed. Hot breakfast buffet was well stocked and coffee was fresh all day. Plenty of free parking, too!

The elevator was broken. We were booked on the 2nd floor and then moved to the 3rd floor upon arrival. Only 1 entrance available/working and I had to park in the back with a trailer and had to walk all the way around the hotel to gain access each time I came & went. No offer of compensation for the hotel's shortcomings.

Elevator was down. They gave us a chance to cancel if we wanted with no penalty. We didn’t want to cancel. I can walk up 3 flights of stairs and I’m happy with the hotel and the staff. Would definitely come back again and they upgraded us to a suite for the trouble even though it wasn’t a trouble. Will stay again.

Our bedding had massive stains on it. The floor is gross, has many stains, plus is coming up in places. The sink has mold in it, along with the shower curtain liner. Overall, we are not impressed.

The elevator is not functional. Had to change from a King suite to a king standard. The carpet was stained and not clean. The tile in the bathroom felt clean. When we asked for towels we had to go back to the room get our dirty towels and “trade” them out. The staff at the front desk was nice Appearently, the elevator has been out a while. There were elderly people struggling with the stairs.

Pleasant and clea
Holiday Inn Express was clean and comfortable. I arrived late but the night person was very pleasant and assisted with last minute printing of documents. The breakfast was better than expected and the morning crew was just as friendly as the night person. Thanks for being nice and welcoming.

Dirty sheets when we checked in. Were advised to only use elevator to go up, not down. Cream cheese on breakfast bar was moldy. Comfy beds and quiet.

The hotel seems nice when you start and the staff is wonderful but the elevator was out of order and the hall outside the room was filled with the musty smell of body odor at all times. The room had not been vacuumed. And the trash can had some waste from the previous guest still in the room.

Doesn't meet Holiday Inn Express standards.
It wasn't holiday Inn express standards. It's more like an old Ramada inn. First off the entrance door was shut. Had to pry the door apart to check in. Check in woman was awesome. There was no refrigerator or microwave and she got a dolly n wheeled one in from another room across the hall. The floor was dirty n looked nasty. The tv was really small compared to modern hotels. The pool worked but not the hot tub. Housekeeping knocked on the door at 9 n 11 with checkout time at noon. Hope you didn't want to sleep in. There was cereal but no milk. The eggs were browned from being burnt. Had to get extra towels to soak up the water that escaped the shower. Toilet didn't flush very well. Won't be staying here again.

Housekeeping did not check our room the one full day we were there. We were out of shower gel and would have liked to get fresh towels. We left our room by 9:45am and didn't return until about 7:30 pm so there was plenty of time for them to service our room.

Happy with the Holiday Inn
We had an absolutely amazing visit to Bethany, Oklahoma and an even better stay at this Holiday Inn. All of the staff at this hotel were kind, accommodating, and efficient. The facility itself is nicely appointed and in wonderful condition. There is ample parking and the included breakfast was filling and well appointed. We have not a single complaint about this Holiday Inn and would highly recommend it.

Bob, I am glad that you found my staff friendly. I do apologize about the smell, our pool is located on the 1st floor, and at times, it does give the lobby a chlorine smell if it had been in use. Guest do travel from the pool through the lobby area towards their room. I hope that you can forgive us for that.
