Muy hermoso, la vista hermosa, la visita de Diva es lo mas hermoso una perrita que te visita afuera de tu habitacion moviendo si colita jajajaja, nos quedamos enamorados de Diva que la bautizamos como Aruba y la quisimos traer a Ecuador jajajaja, pronto regresaremos

Angelique & Esther’s property exceeded my expectation due to its location and cleanliness. The location is not one of the prime places you’ll find in the island of Aruba, but I find it easily to navigate with all my needs. From the property -4 mins to the airport -it’s 20 mins going south, -another 20 mins going north -and 16 mins drive going to the east. It is a modern unit with shared pool, parking lot, and lounging area in the beach. Lots of amenities including floaters, kayak, snorkeling gear, beach towel and kids sand toys. This property can accommodate all genres tbh. It’s spacious and lots of storage. One star deducted because there’s a lot of dog’s poop in the parking lot. The beach area is not totally the one in mind. It’s only good to unwind and to watch the sunset or planes. Highly recommended!!!

This is truly a unique experience if you are looking to enjoy peace and quiet. The place was very clean and amenities were excellent if you are looking to just chill with your loved ones unlike other places we stayed at more towards the city where it gets noisy early morning. If you choose to stay here, you might need to rent a car so that it is easy to go to other beaches and touristy areas.

The property was well taken care of, nicely decorated and clean! The owner, Angelique, was wonderful ensuring we had everything we needed as well as recommending local sights to see, places to see and local restaurants. This property was away from the crowded tourist areas which we loved!! You do need to rent a car to get around the island. This is what we wanted to do. We loved sitting on the balcony each morning having our coffee and enjoying the ocean view !! We would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Aruba. Id love to go back!!

Absolutely loved our stay here. The place is very clean and well taken care of. Communication is first class. The two dogs are so well behaved and we really enjoyed them. You will need a car to get around but it is well worth it to have the peace and quiet. The pier is awesome also. Will definitely stay again. Thanks for the hospitality.

Such a hidden gem!! This property was the perfect end to our stay in Aruba. We wanted to stay somewhere close to the airport and I don’t think you could get closer if you tried! Despite being so close to the airport, the building is remarkably quiet. The best part of our stay was the view and private dock. There is also a walkable restaurant nearby with a beautiful view of the marina. The owners of the property had impeccable communication and were very available. They gave us so much information and were great to deal with and very accommodating. The only con of this place is it’s a bit off the beaten path (although very central so that was nice) and you would need a car or cab. However most places are like this on the island unless you’re staying in the high rise hotels which are so expensive. This place is modern, clean and very comfortable for our family of 3. Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This place is very nice. We were disappointed when we found that “Airport Transfer” which was listed as an amenity on the website did not mean free airport to hotel transportation. We found that to be misleading but we coughed it up and paid the $34.00 cab far from the airport to the hotel. Otherwise the place was great. The power went out while we were there but that was not the hotel’s fault. It was out all over the island. However it meant that we couldn’t have lights, coffee in the morning, a hot shower, etc. so I can’t comment on any of those features. But the room was nice, clean and comfortable.

thank you for your time and review, I am Happy you saw the good in everything. What surprises me is the taxi fare which is regulated and never 34!! I sent the fares to you and you should have referred to that. Expedia has its way of selling the amenities and I agree it is not well displayed that it has a surcharge but if you look further down it is explained. My apologies for that and I will point it out to EXPEDIA that it looks misleading. About the power outage I can only say that it sometimes happens in the Caribbean, however the water should have been warm if the lever has been set in the good direction, the power was out from 7 to 9 am. Thank you for your understanding and great review!

Lovely if you love dogs
This was a clean and well-maintained apartment and the dock area across the street was very nice. You absolutely need a car as the only amenity nearby is the Fish House which was good. I did not have a car and attempted to walk to a shop 15-20 mins away for water and some food for the apartment and was barked at by multiple large dogs and followed. I eventually turned back. There were dogs by the pool and I also woke up to dogs on the balcony. If you don’t love dogs (i.e. not just tolerate them but really like them roaming around off leash) this is not the place for you. Communication was great and some suggestions were offered to make the dogs go away but alas it interfered with the relaxation.

Yes you definitely need a car in Aruba unless you stay in the tourist area, The Vistalmar is a place like home and Diva came by and stayed because of the guests who feed them and love them. They think all guests love them. Fortunately most guests do. I am sorry to hear your experience and hope you found a dogless property.

Super nice and friendly place to stay, in a quiet and secluded place on the island. Awesome to have private access to a beautiful dock on the water, and the suites are incredibly nice and well maintained. An excellent excellent place!

We enjoyed our 10 day stay here in jan 2023. We are a family of 4. The area is quiet, off the beaten path. Rooms are very clean, appliances in excellent condition. The owner is very accomodating and made sure we had what we needed. She also was wonderful about recommending local places to eat and shop. Dock across the way is peaceful and loved watching the sunset there. We are planning to stay again this year.

This hotel stay was horrible let me start off. They have so many dogs there . I almost got attacked by one. I reached out in text and called the owner. They said they was going to take care of it and never did. One of the dogs took my water shoes that I left outside to dry and messed them up overnight. they kept barking all night. Didn’t get no good sleep. Was afraid to come outside. I couldn’t really enjoy my trip because they was always around. I’m really scared of dogs. And also allergic. I don’t know it from the dogs are from the bed I had nasty little marks on my body I try to get a refund back they don’t want to give it back horrible service please don’t stay there. I guess you pay for what you get. The worst Trip ever staying there I regret it and I also have pictures I will be uploading

Absolutely loved this property! Property was very clean. apartments have everything and nothing you don’t. Be aware that there are two resident dogs who live there. They are lovely and very sweet! They don’t bother you but will greet you from time to time especially if you give them attention. I love dogs so having them around was a wonderful perk, however something to consider if you have a fear or do not like dogs. Will definitely be back! Also eat at the fish house down the road, it’s walkable from the property and best snapper on the island!

hi Gladys, we found out that Bandita the brown dog does not like things lying around, the takes them and leaves them on the adjacent piece of land. I now know she does, and everybody is informed. Till she finds a loving home she will keep the place neat and clean :). Let me know if I can send you some money for the shirt and flip flops

Very clean. The view was great. It was nice sitting on the porch, by the pool, or on deck by the water. Diva was a very friendly dog that greeted us everyday. Also, walking distance from fish house which had excellent food. (Try the lobster)We will definitely come back.

We loved this hotel. There was even a wonderful dog on the property that visited each apartment and provided comfort and relaxation for all the guests. He was very calm and nice to everyone. The apartment was very clean and new. The private beach across the street was wonderful as well. Angelena was also a great host available by phone. I am sure i spelled her name wrong but that's me. I could go on with more but i think i have said enough to get my message across

A Treasure in Aruba
My husband and I love condo/apartments/cottages, hotels are just not homey enough. This place is a treasure. Clean, full kitchen with a pool. Across the street is a small beach area with a deck. It is off the beaten path, with the airport behind you. Which, by the way, you don't hear. We had a few questions and we contacted Angelique who was so helpful and kind. I would highly recommend this place if you just want to relax.

Relaxing Trip
We have been to Aruba many times and usually stay in the Palm Beach area. This trip we were looking for a place away from the hustle and bustle of crowds. We wanted a place where we could unwind and just relax. Vistalmar Ocean Suites were just the ticket. The accommodations were very clean, updated, and spacious. We enjoyed breakfast each morning on our veranda watching boats come and go at the local marina. Most evenings we took a bottle of wine to the dock and watched the sun go down. There was a restaurant within walking distance with a wide variety of food and drinks. A car rental is recommended to drive around the island to various beaches and restaurants. Nothing is very far. The host was always quick in answering and questions or concerns.

Not impressed
The room overall wasn’t bad. We arrived a day earlier than our resort stay so had to book something for one night. The location is less than desirable with no real beach and restaurants nearby. We did have some issues with our TV and one of us took a shower and the next shower didn’t have hot water. There were no instructions in the room so I constantly had to text the lady to ask questions, tv, taxi information, restaurant and shopping. We finally just went to bed so we could wake up and start our vacation the next day at our resort. The bed and linens were just very average/poor quality.

I understand you are misplaced. It is always best to read what you reserve or what others reserve for you. You should be in the palm beach area and i believe you were going the day after. So i am very happy with that for you. Thank you

Dear Paul, thank you for your feedback, we do inform that we are not in the tourist area. Thankfully you had a car and that is the best way to move around in Aruba, the Vistalmar is centrally located and within 10min you are in the busy tourist area.

A wonderful two weeks!
I didn't like the looks of the short ride off the highway, but the property is great. 8 condos with a pool and common area in addition to to your private patio. Across a quiet road is a private dock with table ,chairs, lounge chairs, hammocks. Some are over the water. Beautiful. Great dining at Fish house Marina within a short walk. NO cat problem when we were there. Hi.rless dog packs a visible everywhere in Aruba. They are skidish, but bark fearsly. Close to airport and main highways. We were not in a flight path, do no noise probable. Owner is very accommodating. Would definitely stay again!!

I wish I could give this 20 stars. I can't say enough good things about Vistalmar. The apartments look brand new, super quiet. We had no idea they were fully booked until we saw the cars outside. The hotel cat and dog are the sweetest. We looked forward to seeing them daily. The property is GORGEOUS. I did not want to leave. I guarantee I'll be staying here again if we decide to come back to Aruba. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

This was a very nice place for a group of us to stay. The host was so helpful and the place even had a dog and cats that would visit us. The space was very clean and because there was a kitchen it was easy for us to make breakfast before heading out to the beaches. I would highly recommend staying here.

We have a great time at Vistalmar. Super clean, quiet, and relaxing. Room amenities were a plus. New and modern touch. We really enjoy the small private deck next to the beach and pool. I picked this property thinking about our privacy and budget. We felt in love with it. I forgot to mention downtown is just 10-15 minutes away ….

The view & surrounding were pleasant to the eye, however the amenities offered (I.e) swimming pool & patio were not acceptable due to the constant presence of pets, especially to someone who’s not a cat person!

Hi Ann, thanks for posting your review. Taking into account the impact of the issue of these stray cats, we will ask the organization handling this to come and pickup the them. We were not aware that you were harassed. Other guests never had such complain that they couldn’t use the amenities because of this. We will fix it. This was a great property for our vacation purpose. We were traveling with kids so it was nice to have the option to cook meals in our suite. The pool, outdoor shower, and patio were convenient and relaxing. And we made a lot of use out of the private dock. Angelique was quick to respond to any needs; super accommodating. I would recommend having a vehicle to get around. That said, everything was within 10 to 25 minutes away. We would absolutely stay here again.
