My family & I booked this property to stay for one night before flying out to begin our vacation. We booked through VRBO & we got a email confirmation stating that we booked SUCCESSFULLY! At 8:30pm, the night before we were due to arrive, a lady name Melissa called me to say that we need to cancel our reservation because their systems were having issues & allowed us to book for one night when they require a 3 night minimum. I explained that our family are due to arrive tomorrow & it’s not our fault that they were having “system issues” so they should honor our one night stay because this was no fault of ours. Melissa laughed sarcastically & said okay! So once again, we thought we had a place to stay for one night. Saturday morning, the day we were checking in, I called Melissa to see when she would email check in instructions with the code to enter the property. Her response was, “I’m going to email it over now & I’ll need you to respond with each guest name.” I also asked if we could pay an additional fee to do an early check in. She responded, “she can’t do an early check in because the housekeepers wouldn’t have the house ready for us until 4pm.” I told her, okay we’ll be there at 4pm & I’ll email the guest list. Well to our surprise, exactly an hour after I spoke with Melissa, we received an email stating our reservation had been CANCELLED. This was very unprofessional & misleading because she didn’t say during any conversation that she would be canceling our reservation
