Family Trip 2023
We had a great stay with 7 people. The cabin was well stocked with everything a group would need. You can tell the owners took there time making this a perfect place for a large group. It is hard to find properties with lots of bedrooms & bathrooms! Being able to enter through the garage was super nice after a long day of riding trails. We would stay here again!!

Wonderful vacation home for multi-generational trip
Our family of 10 (kids, parents, grandparents) stayed here over Fourth of July and we really loved the thoughtfully designed space. The home had big spaces to all come together (the dining table) and separate spaces when we were ready for some downtime (two living rooms plus outdoor areas). The beds were a mix of too hard, too soft, too high, just right, but that's what you get with different bodies and needs! The kitchen, baths, and linens were well stocked. We had everything we needed for a wonderful week. The temps were in the mid-80s that week and manageable; upstairs rooms were warm at night, but cooled down nicely by the morning. The drive into town was a bit far, but ultimately worth it to be out in such a peaceful setting and in such a spacious, nice home.

FAMILY TRIP 2021
The Eagles Nest was everything we had hoped it would be! Beautiful!! There were 8 family members on this trip and we were extremely comfortable there! The property owner was very nice and accommodating . Responds quickly with answers to any questions you have! We highly recommend this property which is located in a beautiful neighborhood on the mountain side!

Getaway
Very nice property. Loved amount of bathrooms. Lovely walk-in showers. Could use no-slip mats on shower floors. Hot tub was great and 2 living rooms were really nice. In the winter the mudroom off the garage would really be helpful in keeping the rest of the house clean. We really enjoyed our stay.

We had a great stay. House was super clean and comfortable. Pictures don't do it justice. Would highly recommend and we hope to visit again in the future. Also, really cool that it was built by the owners.

Peaceful
The cabin is exactly as shown in the pictures. The kitchen has everything you need and the hot tub was excellent! Our stay was very relaxing. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful and the owner was very responsive. It is a nice enjoyable cabin. I would stay there again.

Amazing and peaceful stay.
This house is beautiful. We cooked every night and the kitchen is stocked just like your home. The hot tub hit the spot after a day on the slopes. Everyone in our group sleep great. This place made our vacation better than I could have expected.

Beautiful Home!
Had an amazing time in this home. Very spacious and felt like it was brand new. The owners were super hospitable and even left us a gift basket. Location was perfect! The hot tub, fire pit outside, fire place inside all added to the experience. I’ll definitely stay again!

Perfect Weekend Getaway
This house is in a fantastic location nestled into the mountain with an easy drive into Pagosa Springs. It was a great and cozy place to stay! Definitely would recommend!!

Girls' trip
Three of us life-long friends, now Grandmas, had a wonderful time in this home. There was plenty of space, plenty of privacy and a perfect location for catching up. Unfortunately, we couldn't enjoy the firepit due to the burn ban. We would definitely return!

Beautiful Mountainside Retreat!
The photos do not do this place justice. This mountain retreat is just gorgeous and very spacious with 2 living rooms! The cabin was very clean and well stocked with all the essential items, toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc. We have stayed at some rentals that provide the bare minimum (if that) but this cabin had plenty for everyone. Homeowner was very welcoming and responsive when contacted. There is even a goody basket upon arrival with all sorts of treats which was a nice touch. After a long day of being out on the mountain, it was wonderful to retire at our private hot tub! Unfortunately for us, we came in the wrong season so we were unable to use the fire pit due to forest fire risk & burn ban in effect, but that is also a nice feature of the house that we would love to use in the winter! We definitely would recommend this VRBO and will stay here when we visit Pagosa Springs again.

Convenience and comfort close to the slopes
This perfectly appointed home was the perfect size to comfortably allow two families to rest, dine, and prep for whatever nature adventures await. The large mud room made it easy for a gaggle of teens and adults to suit up for the slopes. Simple cute decor and nice touches like awesome hand soap and bountiful cozy blankets made you feel welcomed home.

Summer 2019
Eagles Nest Pagosa was a fantastic property! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is basically brand new, and is extremely nice. The owners definitely put their heart and soul into building this place. Our group included my in-laws who are in their late 70's. The ground level master suite with the walk in shower was perfect for them, and the ramp down to the fire ring was quite helpful as well. We highly recommend this place for a group of 8 to 10. Eagles Nest will definitely be on our go to list for future trips to southern Colorado.

Fun family vacation
We enjoyed our stay at Eagle’s Nest. We had 4 adults and 6 kids, and the floor plan and amount of space was just right. It comes stocked with almost everything you might need. The mud room is great for corralling all your gear and keeping the rest of the house from getting cluttered up. It has a good location- convenient to Wolf Creek and Pagosa Springs.

Not happy with our stay
Nice home but be aware that when we arrived we had to fix a shower that had only cold water, the house when we arrived had dirty floors full of pet hair. When it snowed there was a lot of water and mud from dirt that leads to the entry door which caused us to obviously have mud on our shoes going in and out of the house because of No driveway it’s all dirt . Please make sure to mop and clean floors because you will be charged a fee even though we payed for cleaning fee and we even asked owner what we needed to do and were only told to put sheets in washer and dishes in dishwasher we were not told to clean floors and they charged us for cleaning the floors. We made sure to clean when we left them we were only given a partial refund . We were not provided with pictures to prove the floors were so dirty . We also were charged for a new comforter. We will not be recommending this home to people. We have stayed st other rental homes before and have not ever had anyone say we didn’t clean.

Our home is brand new. And yes there was an issue with one of the three showers. It was easily resolved by our guest and I am thankful for their efforts. Our home is cleaned by a cleaning service prior to the arrival of every guest and I am confident they do a thorough job. As for dog hair, I was in the home and it was cleaned after I was there and the home was not full of dog hair. Mud can be a big issue in Colorado, we took preventative measures to protect our floors by incorporating a mud room into the floor plan. This room has ample space and a concrete floor so our guests can remove their muddy shoes in a warm and safe part of our home. I am hoping that all of our guest will utilize this space. We take great pride in providing a great vacation experience for our guests and it is my hope that future potential guests will understand our position.
