First off I don't like the 5 star rating because I believe things can be in between a majority of the time. I will discuss the bad first which is minimal, those that renovated the room could have done better. The bathroom paint used in the master room above the shower started falling after a shower on the first day. There was an issue with the balcony doors and they left trim tape and an exposed nail behind. The air vents need upgraded as well. That being said the good byfar outweighs the bad. Check-in was a breeze with code lock doors. The appliances were top of the line. A quick wash takes 15-20 minutes. Really helpful for those who want to pack minimum amounts of clothes. The view was good and personally really like the gray flooring. Felt solid, looked good, and was easy to clean. The bed and couches were comfortable and plenty of space and seats on the balcony. Parking was never an issue and is monitored by a guard. They have a picnic/cookout location that we ate at when we arrived early. Although they don't have a check-in office they have bathrooms accessible for those arriving early. It didn't take too long to walk to St. Andrews state park and as of now, it is not surrounded by a lot of other hotels. This makes traveling easier. Winn Dixie is roughly 7-8 minutes away and the Dollar General is about 4-5. This makes those oh my I forgot to get something moments easier to recover from. Ashley was my go to when I had questions and issues and that was some of the best communication I have had with a staff of any business. They allowed us to enjoy our stay without being interrupted by maintenance. I say that because my last stay involved two instances in which people came into the room within 3 seconds of the knocking. They were in our room before we made it out of the bedroom. (remember that was a previous stay, not this one). I would give the room 4.5 stars if possible, and if it is available for my next trip, I'll be staying here again.
