I submitted these issues to RealJoy Vacation (property management) on 9/6/22. I wanted to give them a chance to respond prior to posting this review. As of 9/8/22, I have note received anything:(
I am shocked at the lack of interest in your customers. From (1) it taking me calling the office phone to get someone to see the AC issue in our unit and work on getting someone there to (2) no response to the other issues I sent in my review on 9/6.
We had multiple issues at this condo - I reported the AC issue immediately, but had to call the office and get a real person on the phone to pay attention to our needs. The other issues were reported when we checked out as I did not think RealJoy would care.
1. Upon arrival, we had no AC until approximately 5:30 pm on day 2. The temp in the condo reached 87 degrees (Tues night - Wed night it was 83-87).
You suggestion that we leave (we were told we did not have to stay to wait on the repairmen) was both insulting (my husband was working and we were paying rent for our stay) , and was untrue - we got a call a few minutes later by someone else saying we had to stay in the unit because we had a dog.
The repairman did arrive around 5pm on day 2 (had to replace the capacitor) and we we happy to wake up on day 3 with 72 degrees registering on the thermostat.
2. The globe on the fan/light fixture in the front bedroom was not secured and was unstable. We took it off and laid it on the dresser b/c we were concerned it would fly off and break or hurt someone.
3. The ice maker does not work well. It seems that it is freezing up. It would make about 10 pieces of ice a day.
4. Major real estate issue - you have a leak in the roof. The leak can be seen from the hall bathroom - the ceiling is stained close to the ceiling vent. It was dripping on the floor one night when it rained.
5. There is some type of air or gas bubble in the hall bath toilet drain. Every time we flushed, it made a symphony of sounds.
6. The lever door to the washer/dryer was not in its track/hole. We unsuccessfully tried to fix it.
7. The doors opening to the front porch and back deck drag, making them difficult to push/pull open, however great for an arm workout.
