Everything leading up to this stay was great. Good communication, seemingly kind and professional. When we arrived we quickly noticed one of the downstairs bathrooms didn't look clean. You could see mold in the toilet from afar. We had an issue with the 3rd floor AC, which did get fixed after having to dumb down the communication to get them to understand it in fact was NOT working. I got a small piece of metal wire in my foot in the pool- Im assuming from the wire brush for the grill. My brother stepped on a piece of glass close to the kitchen table. I couldn't let my 10 month old crawl around at all because the floors were so nasty- her clothes were so gross after the first time I let her crawl around, so after that we had to just pass her around holding her- fun stuff. The most bizarre thing was- apparently the "owner" has the house up for sale... when communicating about the AC situation I was told that a possible buyer was flying in during our stay and wanted to come see the property... I was asked if they bought us all lunch if we would be "amendable to stepping out shortly so she can see it". Apparently the buyer knew the house was being occupied. You're basically asking me to be okay with a stranger coming in where we have valuables and personal belongings to look around while we're not there. No lunch was bought- I think it was because they ended up having to pay the AC guy instead. Nothing else was discussed regarding her coming by.
