This apartment is close to restaurants, stores, and the metro. Two of the three beds are comfortable, and the kitchen has what you need.
The apartment is on the street, and the noise goes on until 2:00AM, then starts up around 6:30AM. There’s no air conditioning, not uncommon in Europe, so we had the windows open. For light sleepers, it might be hard to sleep with the street noise. The small futon is hard, and our teenaged grandson said it was like sleeping on the floor.
The WiFi went out for almost three days. Although someone was always “working on it” and “getting back“ to us, it still was not working when we checked out.
The biggest issue we had was in making our on line secure deposit. We tried three credit cards and an ATM card, and none of them would go through. The apartment owner referred us to the company that manages the deposits, saying if the deposit wasn’t paid, they could not give us the apartment. The security company referred us back to the apartment owner, saying simply sometimes American credit cards do not work. Neither side offered a solution, but just pointed to the other, with us in limbo. We were concerned we would lose the thousands of dollars we had spent on this rental, and ended up calling Holidays Discovery, the parent company. They were able to help us make the deposit. This took considerable time to resolve and was very frustrating. After the trip, we received a refund of our deposit only upon request.
