We were stranded at the train station for 3.5 hours unable to get a hold of the host. First thing I did was called the platform I always used, Expedia. Expedia couldn’t assist us, pushed the bucket to Vrbo, vrbo customer service couldn’t assist us.
When I finally got a hold of the main office on my own, the customer service sounded inconvenient to assist us. But finally after some struggle I was sent a property address and instruction to check in.
It was extremely exhausting for our family of six including our elderly parents having traveled the whole day.
When we got to the property, we faced another challenge going through the narrow spiral staircase bringing our luggages up to the apartment.
The 3 bedrooms are comfortable, but the living room sofa bed is filthy and ripped, unusable.
The kitchen has cooking pots, plates, bowls, cups, and glasses, but has no knife and no utensils.
The apartment has one bathroom. Thus, it was difficult for a family of six.
The sink faucet is very loss as though it was about to fall apart.
We had to washed all dishes, put them away and throw away trash before we checked out.
This one particular experience refrained me from booking a private residence for the rest of my on going trip in Europe.
