Awful experience
As Expedia loyal member, wanted to give Vrbo a try, but their practice of quality check is now a questionable. Awful experience in a foreign country with kids, will make me think twice before I get anything from Vrbo again. 1. Limited English host which is not a big issue. Problem was, he is non responsive. Asked him a question about parking and he replied after a month and half later. 2. Called day before my arrival about checking information. He said it will be in the email. Which was not true. Called him after I arrived and he replied, watch the video, the link is in Vrbo in box. The sad thing is the message have no hyper link. You have to cut copy and paste in your browser. 3. That was it. After that he stopped answering the phone. As per Vrbo the host is the first person to check if need help throughout the stay. But that was not the case, tried to call Vrbo customer service but was not verify my foreign number. 4. The appointment had no AC or had something which was out of order. and it was 85 degrees Fahrenheit outside and maybe more inside. I call the host but no answer. 2 stand fan was there in two bedrooms. But the fans were so cheap that those could hardly produce any air. We decided to go out. 5. After getting back from outside wanted to get shower. But no hot water. 6. Bedsheets and blankets were not clean, bad smell. 7. Clogged kitchen sink. 8. Dining table chairs were broken. 9. Dirty sofa. Some examples in picsI want full refund.
