Our stay at La Plume Suite in Montorgueil had both highlights and areas for improvement.
What We Liked:
The location is fantastic, with easy access to many of Paris’s main attractions.
The check-in process was smooth and well-organized.
The kitchen and bathrooms have been recently updated, which was a nice touch.
Opportunities for Improvement:
The apartment can get quite warm, especially during hotter days, and the fans provided did not fully cool the space.
The front door requires careful attention to ensure it is properly secured.
Some areas, such as the flooring near the entrance, showed minor signs of wear.
Water pressure and temperature in the shower varied at times.
There was limited space for hanging clothes, which made organizing belongings a bit tricky.
The arrangement of furniture made it challenging to store luggage conveniently.
The headboard was a bit loose, which affected comfort.
Some cleaning supplies were missing or empty when we arrived.
Linens could have been fresher.
The washing machine is older and may not clean as thoroughly as expected.
Communication with the host was brief and could have been more detailed.
Overall:
The apartment’s location and updated features were definite positives, but there are a few comfort and amenity improvements that could enhance the experience, particularly during warmer weather. This property may be a good fit for travelers who value a central location and don’t mind a few quirks.
