When we booked, property was listed as including AC-a feature that was important to us and a medical condition in our group. However, the property DID NOT have AC. Upon inquiry with the property manager, he verbally acknowledged that the unit intended to have AC installed by our arrival. We were not notified of this change, nor offered compensation, despite other accommodations needing to be arranged for a member of our group. The inside of the property was filthy (dead bugs in window sills, layers of dust covering flat surfaces, hair clumps & wood chips in entryway, cobwebs galore, dirty dishes left by the hot tub. When we notified the property mgmt team of our dissatisfaction, they offered to send the cleaners back through the next day but nobody showed up and that change in plan was never communicated. Inadequately stocked (TP & utensils).Exposed outlets, lights without bulbs, tvs without cords, broken, sharp edges of counters & tables, hooks falling off wall, soap dispensers hanging off shower walls, garbage bin half full from previous renters and more. There has been much communication with Vistay customer service through the portal. They only vaguely acknowledged our frustration and offered a laughable 1% refund. They refuse to allow us the opportunity to speak with the actual manager of their team. To summarize: Cleanliness and upkeep was horrible. Property not as described. Vistay has terrible customer service. Not worth money. Look elsewhere!
