I am very disappointed with my stay. I was given an upgrade and early check in, which was nice. However, the cleanliness issues I experienced were unacceptable. I dropped my bags off after checking in, and I noticed that there were bloodstains and a hair on my bedding. I asked them to replace the bedding. I returned later that night, and they had replaced the bedding. However, I then went to the restroom and noticed a TOENAIL on the floor (it was not mine, as I had left for the whole day). This was absolutely disgusting. It was too late at night to have housekeeping remake the room, so I was going to wait until the next day. However, I then found 3 ants on the desk, and a coiled hair on the ground. I called to ask to check out early the next day, and I asked if I could just pay for the night I stayed, but they said I would have to pay in full because of my nonrefundable rate. They offered me a new room, but I was so grossed out that I didn’t even want to risk the new room being just as bad. This is NOT a “luxury” resort. It was obvious very little housekeeping had been done before I entered the room. I ended up leaving and just paying in full. Stay at the Four Points next door— excellent housekeeping and service there. I gave 2 stars because The Charm had kind people and a large room, but these were the ONLY good things about the resort.
