I just returned from a very peaceful and beautiful summer solstice weekend at "The Enchanted Cottage". The cottage was incredibly comfortable, and the grounds were magical. Our host Brenda was the best and I feel a friendship with her only after 2 days. The quiet and serenity that I felt being here was something that was long overdue. We all hustle and bustle through life and forget to take time to enjoy what is really important. This is such a short journey...the little things really should matter. Thank you, Brenda, and I cannot wait to stay with you again.

This was our 2nd stay at the cottage and already looking forward to our next stay!! Such a lovely property! The hosts Brenda and Aaron are so kind and treated us as family!! The cottage is comfortable and just the right size. The pond is beautiful and we love the fishing and the pedal boat! It’s very peaceful and relaxing just kicking back in a seat and enjoying the scenery, the birds, ducks, geese, elk (Matilda) and the gentle breeze!!! Brenda provides treats/snacks so as the stay is bed and breakfast like. The location is close enough to town that you could easily run out for anything you need!! Favorite place to stay! Highly recommend!!

Great peaceful getaway. Great communication with the host went above and beyond. Nice jacuzzi to sit in and gaze at the stars. Coffee in the morning enjoying the scenery and watching the ducks play in the pond.nice walking trails. Great place to relax unwind away from the city

This was an absolutely beautiful and isolated. We loved every minute we were there. Aaron was a wonderful host and very informational and we loved it . The pond and ducks were so cute! We even got to see a cow up close which was amazing. We are 100% coming back !

I have never been so impressed with a weekend rental. Everyone single thing listed was as stated and some of the perks were even better! The hostess was extremely hospitible and planned for any ammenitoes a guest from out of town could need.

Brenda and Aaron were fantastic owners. They take pride in their property. The nights were peaceful and quiet. We didnt have time to make use of all the amenities, but having the options was wonderful. The cottage we stayed in was clean, stocked with snacks, the bed was comfortable. We will be recommending family and friends to book here for all trips to Payson.

Our stay at the Pond House was truly a delight. The tranquil setting of overlooking the water, both from inside and outside the house, provided the perfect opportunity to experience quiet time again. The evening visits from Matilda and her little one were a charming highlight that made our experience even more special. We're so glad we followed the advice of others and booked a third night—it was well worth it. Even with the extra time, there’s still more we wish we could have done. We truly hope to return in the future. A heartfelt thank you to Brenda, Aaron, and Max for being such exceptional hosts!

This place is better than a dream. The water is crystal clear, the scenery is absolutely serene, and the owner is lovely. The cottage is fully stocked with all the snacks (chips, crackers, meat trays, milk, beer, wine…even an onion), and travel items you may have forgotten. The cottage is cozy and comfortable. We will be back!

This is our fourth yr visiting this site. Peaceful and serene. Great place to relax and unwind you can stay connected or turn off your WiFi for phones and enjoy your quiet time. Everything is clean and well stocked Brenda thinks of everything. Brenda and her son Aaron are so helpful with anything you may need but also give you your space. This yr was my first yr to feed Matilda the elk she was beautiful she let me pet her she visited three nights that we saw her. Brenda and Aaron feel like family. We look forward to visiting many yrs to come.

This was just the best experience. Brenda is amazing! Her property is stunning and she makes sure you have everything you need! She gave us the full tour, provided fishing poles and tackle box, peddle boats and canoes, and the kitchen is stocked! The hot tub was a dream. The view from the deck at night is magical. Plus beautiful hike, wildlife, and more. I hope to cone back often!

We had a great stay in the Pond Cottage! We visited for 1 week and only left once to restock food. We enjoyed looking at the pond, and nature all day. Did some hiking. Really enjoyed all the elk!

Cute little cottage. Very pretty location on a pond. Owner is very nice and close as her house is a stones throw away. Matilda the Elk and her baby payed us several visits. All the snacks and food treats were great. Cannot go wrong with this place.

Everything about our stay was awesome. We are already planning a return visit. The cottage was detailed wonderfully and did not disappoint. The grounds were immaculate. The hosts were so very friendly and accomodating. We didn't want to leave! We now consider it our favorite get away destination!
