This is a wonderful place to get away from it all and just enjoy nature and the company of the people you are traveling with. Bird watchers will especially love the barn willows, red headed woodpeckers, blue grosbeak, Bobwhite, and more. Stores and the historic downtown of Saint Genevieve are just a short drive away. Along with many wineries.

Dirty dishes with obvious food stuck to silverware, cookware, bowls, etc. Rat feces in drawers. Dead bugs in window sills. Filthy dishwasher, I refused to use it, couldn't screw over the next person like that. I attempted to email and reach out to the property manager to make this right with no answer. Questions regarding check in prior to were left unanswered. Had to call to get in the property due to absent communication.The stay outside of the kitchen basically was fine. It is a very pretty property but the kitchen was gross and communication was poor.

One of the best houses we’ve ever stayed over the years. Spacious, well equipped, nice kitchen, etc. we loved the views from both the front porch and the fire pit overlooking the farm. Plus there was a winery/brewery a few minutes away. Thanks!

The porch was amazing for morning coffee and the firepit was awesome for visiting (less June bugs would have been nice!) I would suggest future guests bring plenty of bottle water for coffee and drinking. We were reimbursed for the coffee maker we had to buy due to hard water.Contact with company was easy. Overall great place!

We rented this for a quick girls getaway, beds were excellent very comfy. House was as shown online. Loved fire pit, ample wood supply. Would stay here again.

We had a great weekend. The house was clean, had all the necessities, the bedding was cozy, and it was a fun country setting. The teens liked having their own upstairs space. The pond made for fun exploring. The screened in porch was great for morning coffee. We recommend hiking at the near by Pickle Springs Nature Area.

We used this as a home base to explore the area. We were right in the middle of all the places we wanted to see which was wonderful. It had plenty of room and everything we needed to be comfortable. There were such beautiful views of the farm—it’s a great place to hang out and relax with family.

This house was perfect for our stay. We had two families meeting here for the holiday. The 4 beds upstairs were great for kids and the 3 bedrooms downstairs worked for the adults. I am picky about cleanliness, and I was so happy with this house. The dishwasher really doesn't work. We had to wash by had which was difficult with so many people eating. The king bed frame needs replaced as it seems the center bar is bent. This is truly out of the town so be prepared for a 15 minute drive to anything. We would definitely stay again.

Great property and amenities. Liked there was wood for the fire pit, roasted hotdogs were great. Suggest hand towels and washcloths in the half bath. Also local tv channels on the tv. One bed was Very hard to Climb Into.

Everything was great with our stay here. Check in was simple and communication immediate for the couple questions I had near check in. A great location near the wineries and just a short drive to Farmington and Ste Genevieve. Really enjoyed mornings on the front porch with coffee and evenings around the fire pit. Inside was well equipped and comfortable. Unless the landlord installs a water purification system, I would suggest people staying to bring their own Ice and water. The minerals in the water are so severe that it's ruining the dishwasher and coffeemaker. The water did not taste good even after being in the Brita. And the ice left mineral deposits after melting.

Place was very nicely updated. Very cute. Plenty of room for gatherings with family. We loved it. It was next to the wedding venue we went to over weekend. And enjoyed a distillery visit while staying. Very fun. Thanks

What an amazing property! Placed out in the country, lots of space to spread out. Enjoyed every second of it. The only thing it is missing is a table to eat around, but we made it work. Would highly suggest you do not grocery shop at the Save Alot that is suggested.....and actually go into Farmington or Ste Genevieve. Both cities have lots to offer. This listing was amazing and will definitely be back!!!

Had a fantastic stay, it’s a very hospitable property with comfy beds, plenty of seating for the six of us, adequately-stocked kitchen and cute interior design. We did not take advantage of the fire pit due to all the snow, but the wintry wonderland was great for a small morning hike. Its proximity to Chaumette for lunch was perfect. Owner was extremely friendly and informative. They do a great job, and we would happily stay there again. :)

The house was a nice as it looks on the website. I suggest one bring their own pots and pans if you plan to cook meals for a large group.
