Bella experiencia en un verdadero castillo
Desde que llegas quedas impresionado por la estampa del castillo con sus maravillosos jardines y paisajes, es como un cuento de Adas, sus paisajes maravillosos, las habitaciones estrechas, pero que esperas de un castillo, asi son si quieres tener esa maravillosa experiencia, no lo dudes

Lugar magico!!!! Hermoso paisaje!!! Muy bonito el castillo!! Lo único es que no funcionaba el aire acondicionado y aunque no era verano hacía bastante calor dentro de la habitación!!!!!

No estuvimos muchos dias pero la estancia fue muy agradable. El lugar es increible y la vista no tiene comparacion

Está alejado de la ciudad pero tiene una vista única al valle. Atención excelente

We loved our stay here, what a gorgeous property! It is super close to center of Perugia too, you both feel like in the countryside but you are also right in the city. We can’t wait to go back!

A stunning boutique “castle” hotel, fantastic restaurant for dinner!!! Nice pool and hot tub. The view of Perugia is wonderful, especially during sunset. The staffs are helpful and warm. A few minor improvements can be made, like proving water/coffee/tea in room? The shower hot water was not consistent in my room.

Lovely place big you want the castle experience in the center of Italy, few options like this one. Very well restored castle with beautiful grounds. Not huge, so very cozy. We were just there in December, and we were lucky to have nice weather. But I am sure in spring or early summer it must be fantastic. They have a pool and 2 hot tubs. One this I pointed out, is the mattress and pillows need to be upgraded to reflect the level of the structure and excellent service. On the latter, everyone is extremely nice, and being more of a boutique setting, it is nice to get to know everyone. To finish, the restaurant is excellent. worth a stop but if for just dinner. it is very close to Perugia, so if you are renting a car, totally worth it.

We pride ourselves on always being able to listen to our guests' requests and suggest effective solutions, but in this case the language barrier was a significant obstacle.Let's try to summarize the reason for your disappointment: right after your arrival, you asked reception to refund your booking because the atmosphere in your room was not what you had imagined. In particular, you showed insistently a picture of our library as an example of what you imagined the rooms would have looked like.Additionally, we would like to point out that photos of each individual room are available on our website, together with a detailed description.Given this situation, we must renew our position: we do not consider this a reasonable reason to obtain a refund.We hope you will understand our reasons.Best regardsReception

The property was breathtaking. Beautiful in every way. The short taxi ride to the city center and incredible views of Perugia from the property made it enjoyable. Our only criticism is that it was noisy at night.

This was our second stay at Castello di Monterone. It really is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. The property and grounds are absolutely stunning! It is so peaceful and relaxing. All the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The restaurant adjacent to the hotel is also wonderful. The location is great for exploring the towns and sights of Perugia! We will DEFINITELY be returning!

Beautiful restore property very clean with tiny rooms unfortunately we will not coming back ever we spend 3 nights there and the air conditioning in the all property does not work even in the restaurant where i invite 7 guests from the arra so you are sweating all day and whole night..i concluded that they tryng to save cost... understandable but not at the expenses of the costumers.. after expressing my self to the management they offer me lunch and some local wine but i decliner respectively.

So interesting to stay in a castle. It’s a lively property and the restaurant (breakfast and dinner) is great. There is an easy atmosphere and the staff is helpful at all times. It’s very close to Perugia and the views are amazing.

This was the most beautiful property we have ever stayed at. Staying in a castle with so much history in the 13th century was surreal. The bedroom was a bit dark but castles aren't known for their big windows. Bed and bathroom were great. We had dinner there 3 nights which was also superb with good wines to match and reasonably priced for where we were. A gorgeous view from the restaurant and other areas. Perfect.

Compare to other “castello” Hotel, It was the best. There are enough parking space at entrance and easy to load and bring up to the room. Facility is nice and clean. The staff are all friendly. I recommend this place.

Rigtig god oplevelse i Umbrien
Super fint hotel med fantastisk have/udeområde med udsigt - og meget sødt personale. Restaurantens mad er god - også morgenmaden med bla. friskpresset juice de fleste dage, men akustikken i restauranten er forfærdelig! Gåturen ind til (op til!) Perugia er kedelig og med mange biler - men byen er meget flot og skal absolut besøges, tag evt. bussen.

The Castle is gorgeous but make sure to arrive before dark as it's very difficult to find afterwards! When you arrive, follow the sign for "Residenza" - DO NOT follow the parking signs or you'll end up in the middle of nowhere wandering around in the dark as we did! Once we made it to the hotel, thato a very kind man who works in the restaurant, it was lovely, and the view when we woke up the next morning was spectacular!

Fabulous week in the outskirts of Perugia
We had a fabulous week, the hotel is clean, comfortable and beautiful, with friendly, helpful staff. The breakfast buffet was great and extensive and the dinners were excellent. The hotel is quite close to the City Center but you feel like you’re in the country.

Schön, mit kleinen Abstrichen
Schönes Anwesen, leider nicht ganz im Schuss. Mit ein wenig Liebe wäre es kaum zu schlagen. In der Nacht brennen viele Lampen nicht, und der Park könnte einen Gärtner vertragen. Auch die Terrasse vom Restuarnt passt stimmungsmässig nicht zum sonst wirklich tollen Erlebnis.
