This cozy cottage is a true gem. It has the “Up North” feeling but has all the modern convenience of being at home. It is centrally located for trips to Mackinac and Petoskey. Host responds quickly and you can tell has a passion to make his guests feel comfortable.

This is our second time staying here. Love the location and the house. Steve has been an amazing host, even had a minor issue with booking that he resolved quickly and easily. Will definitely be staying again in the future.

This house was perfect for us. There were 5 of us and we had plenty of room. The place was cozy and clean and had all amenities needed. The beds were very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again. We enjoyed winter activities like rafting on the Sturgeon River, ice skating, sledding. We went to Boyne Mountain and went tubing and walked across the Sky Bridge. We ate at The Thirsty Sturgeon, Breakers and visited Northland Brewery.

The cottoge was cute and cozy. The three bedrooms made it extra nice and each of us had our own bed. Steve made sure the cottage was stocked with everything we might need and he was easy to get in touch with. It was a great location and Steve was a very good host! What a lovely home! Nice and spacious! Loved having two bathrooms, and my own bed to sleep in. Loved the location. Would have loved to explore more, but not enough time in the day. Steve was fantastic and really easy to reach, and prompt with his responses ! Plan to stay here again!!!

Girls weekend was a hit at this perfect retreat- the layout was perfect for cooking and hangout out! We have been friends for more than 20 years and we needed a weekend away- so glad we found this house! We loved the back yard and the shops/restaurants downtown. Steve was a great host and was easy to communicate with- made our stay more enjoyable! A major plus was the check in and check out was a breeze- minimal things to do, which made the stay that much more enjoyable. Looking forward to coming back again!

It’s a great location! It’s close to the lakes and rivers. We spent every day playing on the water! We enjoyed the mornings and evenings at the house before and after our adventures! It's our third trip to the house and won’t be our last. Steve is an awesome host! Highly recommend!!!!

If you want a clean, beautifully decorated, fully functional, with many amenities, this is the place to go. My sisters and I stayed there last year and liked it so much, we booked for our stay this year and hopefully next year too. Host responds right away to requests for help, and yard is beautiful with flowers and relaxing area.

We absolutely loved everything about our stay at Steve's cottage in Indian River! Steve made the whole process easy and was available for any questions or guidance that we needed. The cottage was super clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We didn't have to buy any extras (paper products, laundry det, cleaning supplies, propane for grill, even firewood for the fire pit ... it was all there!) Indian River is a gem and we could walk anywhere in town for anything that we could ever need. Perfect stop for your up north getaway! This was our first visit to Michigan, and it definitely won't be our las. Thank you, Steve for the wonderful hospitality, we will be back!
