Well presented with stunning views!
Very well presented little cottage. There are a few different cottages here, we stayed in Valencourt. Quality furnishings and fittings, was very comfortable and cosy for a family of 4. Only frustration was the showers. Very difficult to get the right temp for the kids. (I think its to do with the hot water pressure) Even so it didn't spoil our stay, lovely touch with welcome pack in the kitchen, tea, sugar, milk, bread, butter, fresh orange juice and biscuits. Very appreciated! But the best part of all which pictures on a website can not do just is the stunning views of the moors and countryside. Which ever window you look out from you are greeted with amazing veiws. They leave you to yourselves to enjoy you accommodation but are also very friendly and approachable if you need any help. Would highly recommend for a peaceful quiet stay.

Perfect location.
The cottage was ideal for my husband and I. The location was perfect with lots to see and do in the countryside and on the coast. The cottage was well equipped, although we’re big tea drinkers and would have loved a teapot. It was comfortable and very quiet so we slept well, always a bonus for us. Our son, his wife and their dog joined us for the weekend and had a lovely, relaxing break.

Stunning countryside, lovely comfortable cottage, all basics provided which was nice, easy with the dog, lots of outdoor places to sit. All in all it was a real pleasure and everyone was so friendly and keen to pass on the amazing history of the area

Amazing remote get away
Amazing dog friendly cottage in the heart of the moors. We will absolutely go back. A warm Yorkshire welcome surrounded by stunning scenery and local pubs and places to visit.

Nice cottages in the yorkshire moors
The cottage was lovely. We had one that was sorta tucked away and which gave a bit of privacy when sat outside. Plenty of space in the cabin, very cozy. Had everything you need except could do with adding a clothes horse for those who do laundry and maybe some sharper knifes as the ones that are they are as dull as a butter knife. The place itself is quite rural, the nearest pub or cafe is about a 5 minute drive but the nearest shop is about 20 minutes. But the views and quietness make up for that. Check in and out was super easy. Would definitely recommend this spot.

Garth cottages is a beautiful location. We arrived very late in the pouring rain to a lit fire and a bottle of wine. A little slate with our name , indicated where our cottage was located. Met by the owners the next day, who were very friendly and helpful. We were given plenty of local knowledge and ideas for places to visit and good advice on places to eat.

Lovely cottage, welcoming appeal on arrival. Everything you would need was available. Very comfortable beds, but the sofas were not so comfy. Overall a very enjoyable stay and will hopefully return in the future.

Problemloser Aufenthalt in Holiday Cottage in schöner Lage mit netten Wirten
Das Cottage liegt auf einer Farm abgelegen im North York Moore National Park, sodass wir von dort direkt loswandern konnten. Auf eine Detailanfrage hatte die Wirtin nicht reagiert, der Empfang aber war problemlos: Nicht nur war sie anwesend, sondern unser Cottage war offen und schon mit unserem Namen gekennzeichnet, sodass wir auch noch spät in der Nacht hätten ankommen können. Der Empfang war freundlich. Das Badezimmer war alt, aber alles sehr sauber. Die Töpfe wirkten absolut neu. Es war nichts an haltbaren Lebensmitteln da, nicht einmal Salz; ich weiß nicht, ob das deren Politik ist oder sie die Küche gerade gründlich aufgeräumt und erneuert hatten. Neben den beiden eher kleinen aber ausreichenden Schlafzimmern gibt es ein kleines Esszimmer und einen größeren Küchenbereich mit Sofa und Kamin. Sehr schön. Internet funktionierte problemlos. Wir haben unsere Buchung nicht bereut und würden in vergleichbarer Situation sicher wiederkommen. Auch für mehr als nur 2 Nächte.

Family Trip
My family and I had a great weekend at Craven Garth, the cottages are very clean and comfortably and very cosy after a cold day at the beach. All the facilities where excellent and the owner very friendly. I took my dogs and they were made very welcome, will definitely be going back.

Relaxing holiday at Craven Garth cottages
Craven Garth cottages is a lovely place to get in touch with nature. Nestled in Rosedale in the North York Moors national park, it gives you unadulterated air and views of the wild landscape of the region. We had the 2 bedroom self catering unit called Adagio which had well proportioned bedrooms, a spacious living area and a full kitchen which we benefited from over the 3 nights we spent there, Ena, the owner and host is a lovely lady and provided for all of our needs. The cottages are fully self catering though and while there is no daily service, we were able to ask for anything we needed. The cottages had clean white linens and towels provided. The local towns nearby were easy to get to by road and there were plenty of walks nearby. We drove down to Whitby and York while we were there. If you are looking for a comfortable cottage holiday in a beautiful part of the country then this is the place for you
