Sweet, Tranquil Getaway

We were in TN for our daughter’s wedding in Johnson City. It was a little bit of a drive to and from venue BUT soo worth it!! The drive to the house is absolutely beautiful and calming! The house was clean and so comfortable. The backyard: paradise! Absolutely loved it!

Great Property!

This house and property is absolutely beautiful. It is exceptionally clean and well maintained. We had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Our boys LOVED the kayaks and swimming in the shallows at the house. The house was easy to find and convenient to stores and restaurants. Tips for future renters: if you’re coffee hounds like we are, bring your own coffee pot. The coffee pot is quirky. If you like to cook, the pots and pans are new and nonstick. If you’re planning to bring a boat, there is a free public boat launch at one of the nearby bridges. If you have a boat, the driveway is very tricky to get in and out of with a trailer. We also could not figure out the power to the dock and had to run an extension cord to the house. These were not major issues for us and did not take away from our fun.

Nice place!

Beautiful lakefront, quiet location. House was clean, well stocked. We actually had no contact with property manager other than check in/out instructions, because there was no need. We would definitely go stay again when we are in the area.

Beautiful home on lake

Lake House Fun!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house by the lake! The owners thought of everything to make our stay the most pleasurable experience in Piney Flats. We felt so at home. They are such wonderful hosts! We are already thinking about coming back next year!

Great Lake House

We enjoyed this scenic and quiet spot on the lake. The house is well equipped and comfortable. We ate in most meals and our kids had plenty of room. Would rent again if we are back in the area.

Piney Flats Fishing Trip

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. Our friends had their three year old grandson with them and stayed in the upstairs bedroom with a queen and twin bed. The room was perfect for them. My husband and I stayed in the bedroom on the main level. We enjoyed dinner on the new back deck. We enjoyed sitting on the dock. Boone Lake is a beautiful lake. We would love to return to this lake house for future visits. The guys fished two days with a local guide on the South Holston and the Wautuga. Perfect location.

December Trip

The property was very nice! The main living area was accessible to everyone, even my 85 year old mother who visited from Bluff City. There is also a half bath and one bedroom, in addition to the living room, kitchen and dining area on the main level. All rooms are comfortable and beautifully furnished. There were quite a few steps leading to the upstairs bedrooms and bathroom, but that was no problem for us. Also, there were about 16 steps leading to the downstairs game room, but again no problem unless you have mobility issues. The home is even nicer than pictured. The owners supplied everything you need, and the home had many nice touches. We had a wonderful time and plan to make another trip in the spring!

Great vacation spot

Beautiful, clean and comfortable home. Gorgeous and scenic area. Nice neighborhood and quiet area of lake with less boat traffic. Peaceful. We all enjoyed swimming, floating, boating and using jet skis. Lots of fun! Would definitely rent again in future. Loved the partially covered dock so you could be in or out of the sun.

Piney flats house

We had a great time, but one of the reasons we rented the house was because it was waterfront. It was waterfront, but wish they would have told us the water was down about 20 feet because of work on the dam. Glad we decided,at the last minute, not to bring the boat. One issue the owner may wish to address it there are squirrels in attic in the bedroom with the kids teepee. You can see the holes in the upstairs eaves from the deck below. They can be heard running around during night. There were a few other minor issues in the house that probably need attention to, but nothing we couldn't work around. All in all it was a great stay.

Great getaway place!

House was great, super clean and well appointed. Nice boat dock to fish from with beautiful neighborhood lake. A little out of the way but not terribly, golf courses and restaurants 15 to 30 minutes away. We'll be back!
