The rooms are nothing like the pictures. The door card wouldn’t work, the chair in the room was disgustingly filthy with stains and burn holes and the heater made an awful noise. The whole place smelled musty and the floors were dirty. We didn’t even stay the night, we left and drove home.

Needs some maintenance
Nice staff. Shower rod was falling out of wall causing curtain to not stay closed. Wall unit would not work. No heat. Plenty of parking for large vehicles.

Needs some serious fixing on the property. Bathroom ceiling coming in in the shower. Shower curtain rod broken and the curtain slides to the middle (doesn't stay where it is supposed to). The air didn't work even though it was on all night, had to open the window to cool off.

Filthy Room.
The room was filthy. Stained carpets and the chair had so many stains that it looked like it was rescued from the trash. Drywall patches with no paint and the list goes on. If we would have had another choice, would have left. Never again. Toilet made siren noises.

The Clerk was very hard to understand and very hard to hear. We asked for 2 extra pillows and we’re given one even though there might have been a total of 6 rooms in use. With all the rooms available the clerk put people in one right next to use and the Snoring was so load we had to leave the TV on all night. Over all I would not recommend this to any one.

It is so dirty water stains, awful smell, couch had black marks. Termites in window seals. The smell was awful the lady was nice at the desk, but not worth it for the room conditions. Will not be back.

Keep looking.
Not worth the money. Water damage throughout the building including in the room. The stench of mold blowing out of the air conditioner. Felt like staying in an old house. Will do in a pinch I suppose.

There was no breakfast provided except pre-packaged muffins and some yogurt. We had expected a full breakfast but they said that they did not yet have their health department license.

The ac didn't work. We got locked inside our room, management had to kick our door open to get us out. They moved us to another room. Again ac didn't work, mini fridge didn't work and had mold in it.Bedding was musty smelling. Water in tub and sink was rusty. We spoke to management no apology or offer to refund any monies. Had there been any place else available to stay we would have changed hotels. Will never stay there again. We go to this area twice a year and have told everyone not to stay there. We spoke to 5 others that had the misfortune of staying there during the same time all said their experience was not any better.

I really didn’t like anything the hotel was dirty and the room I got had a door that didn’t even close and they tried saying “oh just lift up on the door and it should close” I shook my head no and he then said well I guess we can give you the other room and when we got into that room it did look better than the first floor however the toilets were leaking at the base of them and I used it and it didn’t flush and it flooded all over the bathroom floor then when I asked for towels I said can I get maybe 10 and the lady brought back 2 overall if you can’t afford anything else then I guess go here but if you have an extra $20 to spend then just go to holiday in it’s a 30 second drive away

Do not pay money to stay here. It is not worth it at any rate. We had to wait an hour to check-in. There were bugs and beetles in the room. The walls were dirty. The room coffee maker leaked and the coffee tasted like dirt. Just say no!

I had to daily stop at the desk to get my room key corrected so it worked. They never cleaned the toilet or the tub while I was there. The next time I need to travel to Pittsburg, I will definitely stay at a different location. Pittsburg is the 10th best place in the country for people to retire, so they might want to step things up to welcome people who might travel there to check out the area.

There were literally alive bugs crawling on the toilet seat and what looked like blood stains on the side of the toilet paper roll. Towels were dirty. Pretty gross overall.

So bad SO DANGEROUS.
There were dead bugs under the bed. The fridge was missing shelving to hold drinks in the door. There was 3 power cords connecting everything in the room and was a HUGE fire hazard. The paint was coming off the walls. The windows screens were bent. The bathroom wasn’t very clean, the tub was separating from the flooring. When I called the front desk to come and look at my room because I had two children with me and that the electrical outlets were over powered and very dangerous she told me “I’m sorry to say this, but if you can just try to keep your little ones away from it that’s all I can do“
This was the outlet that had 2 power strips connected to it. The lamp next to it was broken just sitting in the room for storage.

Went in as a walk in. Saw it was cheaper through expedia so stood there and booked it with the non -refundable option. AFTER I was done she tells me they are having issues with the fire alarms and plumbing. Fire alarm went off 3 times while sleeping. Woke up every time. Water was brown for about a minute before it became clear-ish. Said coffe would be available in the morning. Nope. And some woman’s long hair all over the tub. But it was cheap. Just wish she ould have been up front about some of the issues they were having instead of after I booked it.

It was beyond nasty. Trash left under the bed. Stuff wasnt plugged in or didnt work. Very nice staff but it was just nasty to me. No elevator. Definitely needs a remodel

Could smell food, room was musty, shower curtain rod homemade and loose, floor grout pulling a way from tub, bathroom wall had rips in it. Language barrier at front desk staff very very difficult. Though dining closed due to covid don't think we would have. Carpet and chair in room badly stained. Bar/shop noisy til midnight. Will NOT stay at Super 8 again.

Are you sure you posted this review for the right hotel? Everyone who works the front desk at Super 8 does speak English so there must have been some misunderstanding on your part. It will help you in the future if you are very specific and refrain from any transactions until an agreement is met. There is not any bar/shop at Super 8 so it isn't even possible that there would be noise from it until midnight. Also, every single one of our shower curtain rods here are store bought and not homemade. It is true this building could use some upgrades but we do regularly have our carpets shampooed and also we do wash our linens, blankets and comforters. We certainly do not "evict" our guests unless payment has not been rendered. And our housekeepers have never had any theft incidents. We are fairly lenient on cooking food in our rooms -only with extreme precautions, because we are extremely understanding of being budget friendly. Thank you for your feedback. In the future we do hope you are able to find other accommodations to your likings.
