Daughter's Wedding

Our stay was fantastic. Very very restful. The house is the perfect size and so clean. The property just says, chill, relax, enjoy. So we did. Our daughters and othe bridesmaids absolutely loved the makeup room. Couldnt get them to stop raving about it. This property is our favorite VRBO by far.

Lovely stay in the country

Our family had a wonderful stay at the Lakehouse - spacious, warm, clean and light, beautiful scenery (lake, vineyards, horses). Kitchen was well-stocked with dishes, utensils, small appliances, and cooking gear, as well as basic kitchen needs (oil and spices, foil, etc.). We loved the great room, movie night, walks on the property. Tim and staff were quick and attentive to a request for help in re-setting the TV/cable/internet box. Fairly quick drive into Placerville for supplies, wine tasting. A great stay!

Perfect getaway for 3 long-time friends

All the pictures and the descriptions were 100% accurate. Beautiful setting, amazing views, comfortable home. Kitchen equipped with plenty to accommodate beverages and food of all kinds. We throughly enjoyed our stay.

Pastoral Getaway

The setting is pastoral and quiet. The unit is tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable. The kitchen is adequately stocked. If you enjoy small, local history museums, there are a number of fine ones in the vicinity.

Great home with amazing views

Very nice home with great views in a tranquil setting. The owners are so helpful and accommodating. Great place which is nicely appointed. Beds are very comfortable and the island table was great with 8 seats.

Beautiful home with everything we needed

This house was beautiful inside and out. It had a very well stocked kitchen with everything we needed to cook meals. The beds were very comfortable and the A/C worked well. The patio overlooking the pond was a wonderful place to hangout and read. The location was close to my relative’s place and the river rafting companies. Grocery stores were not too far away either. My family and I had a wonderful time staying here and would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely beautiful and picturesque!

The pictures on the site DO NOT do justice to all this stunning gem! What a lovely, idyllic setting right by the lake, in the lap of nature! My family and I had a wonderful time here. Amazing views of the lake, vineyards, hills and lush greenery! The only sounds we heard were the cackling of geese all around. The home is tastefully remodeled, beautifully furnished and thoughtfully stacked with everything one would need for a comfortable stay. I scored a lot of points with my kids for finding and booking this and we plan to be back again soon. We travel a lot and I'd say this is one of the top 3 rentals we've stayed in over the years. 5 stars all the way!

Serene Home with Lake view

This home is located in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by a vineyard and view of a lake off of the back porch. There were lots of geese, birds, ducks and peaceful scenery to enjoy!

Wonderful second stay at the lake house!

We stayed here in December and fell in love so scheduled a trip to celebrate Mother’s Day weekend! We had a great time and enjoyed lounging on the patio. The only thing to note is the kitchen is pretty empty - no staples and not a lot of basic kitchen items - no biggie, just something to keep in mind if you’re planning on cooking, like we were.

Out To Lunch Bunch from Menlo Park

We selected this property to join for a 50-year reunion of Nursery School moms. We planned on walking and talking sharing wine and food over the course of our stay. The setting was perfect for all of us. The view of the lake, the horses out to pasture, the variety of birds, the bass fishermen on the shore and the quiet was what we all needed. We walked the vineyards, the horse arena, stalls and wedding venue. Everything was clean and well maintained. The beds were comfortable, the towels plentiful, and the furniture well chosen to enjoy the views. The kitchen was well stocked with matching dishes, glasses, pots and pans not always found on other properties. The bathrooms were clean and plentiful making it easy for all the ladies to shower, and bathe without crowding. We purchased our food before arrival and planned on preparing all meals on site over the course of four days. We only needed to drive into Placerville for some seasonings, aluminum foil and saran wrap. We will return and are highly recommending this site for a wedding or other celebration. Arrive early, extend your stay and rest. This should be a 6-star property

Wow! Just WOW!

This was our first experience with VRBO and it was nothing short of spectacular! Seeking a quick weekend getaway, my wife and I stumbled upon this hidden gem that surpassed all our expectations. Nestled amidst picturesque vineyards and grazing horses, the tranquil lake setting immediately set the tone for pure relaxation. After walking through the front door and then right out to the patio we were greeted by a stunning lake backdrop, adding to the charm and beauty of the place. The off-the-grid vibe and connection with nature lent an air of serenity that was exactly what we needed to unwind. In essence, our stay was a perfect blend of tranquility and natural beauty, making it a memorable escape from the daily grind. This VRBO experience left us thoroughly impressed, and we look forward to returning soon for more serene getaways!
