Amazing villa

We have just come back from a fabulous week at Villa Amor. Everything about the villa was perfect. The decor was fresh and very clean, all the rooms were lovely and the outside area, pool and sunbathing areas all perfect for a large group of friends to relax and have lots of fun. Air con was a life saver in the heat too. Being so close to the beach was the icing on the cake, literally 10 steps from the villa gates. It's in a fairly quiet area so you do need a car to get to a larger supermarket, 5 minutes drive. There is a very small supermarket and cash point 2 mins walk away. The traffic nearer to Split was bad so don't try to get there! We just stayed at the villa and went to a wonderful local restaurant Marinac - had only been open a couple of weeks and the food was fabulous. Bruno organised a wonderful all day boat trip to Hvar and Pakleni and chef Martin organised a welcome buffet and final night dinner - which was delicious. Wish we'd had it earlier as there was a lot of food left over! Would highly recommend Villa Amor - thank you for a great week!

Fantastic stay!

We had such a lovely stay at this Villa. The place had everything you needed. And it was clean and fitted the description perfectly. We talked to the owner and she recommended we hire chef Martin for a birthday dinner - so we did and he was AMAZING! He came to the house and cooked our family a lovely dinner. Cleaned and left us with the leftovers. Such a big recommendation

Beautiful Property Close to Split

We were a party of 8 adults and loved our stay at Villa Amor. The view is spectacular, the house is well stocked, the beds are comfortable and they’ve seemingly thought of everything you’d need. Kitchen it great for meal prep. The villa is about a 20-30 minutes drive to old town Split but the local restaurants are fantastic. Our host was very responsive too. A few things to mention: The house is on a busy street and you can hear street noise from the two front bedrooms. And 2 bedrooms don’t have water views. Wifi can be a little slow but it works fine.

Perfect family getaway

Amazing villa with everything we needed. Ivana (property owner) gave us a fantastic welcome, treating us to some of her local homemade treats. She was always on the end of a message too for advice and help. A lovely stay had by all. Thank you.

Beautiful villa

We were a group of 13 visiting Croatia ( our father’s home country). Pictures do not do justice to Villa Amor it was absolutely stunning. Spotless and modern, fully equipped kitchen,extra bath towels, pool towels steps from the sea. Grocery store 1block away. The host was helpful and available for any concerns ( and we had none) You will not be disappointed in this perfect choice for vacation.

Lovely house in a beautiful setting away from the crowd

The house was just as it is described. It was clean. There was plenty of hot water and water pressure. The kitchen and bathrooms are small but you can tell that from the pictures so it was not a disappointment. The pool was lovely. There is no shallow end. Not a problem for us because we did not have any children with us. We had 3 rental cars and it was nice to have a private space to park them. I definitely recommend the house.

Excellent stay

Villa was just as described. Good location right onto sea front with public path running in front of villa. Direct access to the sea. Local restaurants available within 5-10 mins walk, some better quality ones a little further. Small mini market next door. Larger Tommy supermarket 15 mins walk away. Better supermarket available in Omis a 25 min bus ride away. Buses run right past to both Omis (worth visiting) and Split every 15 mins or so in high season. Couldnt really fault the villa. Met by owner on arrival and everything was explained to us by her son. Would recommend.

Fantastisk for familie

Hyggelig velkomst og flott vertskap. Du har hotellfølelsen selv om du bor i et stort hus ved stranden. Brukte Chef Martin i forbindelse med feiring og han leverer. Anbefaler bruk av han under oppholdet. Et av de beste stedene ved Podstrana, huset og rommene stod til forventningen. Vi har bare positive tilbakemeldinger. Uteområdet benyttete vi til alle måltidet og gressplen var flott å være på for store og små. Bassenget er akkurat passe for oss 13 som var der. 10 m til havet er supert. Husk badesko. I Kroatia/Split et mobildekning litt utfordrende. 4 og 5G er ikke det samme over alt i verden. Wifi som er på huset kan være bedre, det er vel det eneste vi kan kritisere.

Stunning Villa, Stunning Location

Our 13 strong party included Grandchildren from 3 years old to Grandparents up to 77 yrs old. The Villa facilities were amazing, including a downstairs double bedroom for a slighlty less mobile couple. The beautiful Adriatic Sea was 10 paces from the rear of our Villa. A local shop for all basic goods was 2 minutes walk. Apart from a busy and occasionally noisy road at the front the location was idyllic. Ubers were plenty and cheap and the location was good fro trips to surrounding places of interest. Omis was stunning, Trogir magical, Split historic but more commercial. Our host Ivana made us very welcome and our entire stay was an unforgettable experience.

Et kjempeflott hus med alt du trenger. Velutstyrt. Fin hage med koselig uteplass til alle oss (14stk.) Kan anbefales . Vi har bestilt samme sted neste år. Deilig basseng og kort vei til havet. Vertskapet meget behjelplig. Et fantastisk sted. Hilsen fra en meget fornøyd norsk familie. Takk for oss..

Spitzen Urlaub in der Villa Amor!

Wir waren 14 Personen. 10 Erwachsene. Und 4 Kinder. Die Villa verfügt über 7 Zimmer. 2 Zimmer mit 2 Einzelbetten (kann man nicht zusammen schieben). Dann 1 Dreibettzimmer (1 Einzelbett und 1 Doppelbett). Dann 3 Zimmer mit einem Doppelbett. Und ein weiteres Zimmer mit Doppelbett und einem Sessel, den man zum schlafen ausziehen kann. Aber, auf diesen Schlafsessel passt kein Erwachsener. Nur ein Kind. Pool. Garten. Haus. Spitze. Jeden 2. Tag kam Ivana (Vermieterin). Sie ist sehr nett. Sie spricht nur Kroatisch. Aber, es hat trotzdem gut geklappt mit der Sprachbarriere. Das Haus war sehr sauber und wir waren 2 Wochen da. Nach einer Woche hatten wir eine Zwischenreinigung. Betten frisch beziehen, Bäder putzen, Küche. Die Reinigungsdamen haben gute Arbeit gemacht. Küchenausstattung war spitze. Genug Teller, Tassen, Gläser, Besteck. Das Meer vor der Tür. Besser geht nicht. Es war ein Traum. Ums Eck ist ein kleiner Studenac. Bäcker auch nicht weit. Tommy Supermarkt auch nicht weit weg. Und Lidl gibt es auch. Müller Drogerie in Richtung Omis. Alles in allem. Es war ein spitzen Urlaub. Danke Ivana und Danke an Martin für die tolle Begrüßung. Es gab eine Schinken, Salami, Käse Platte zur Begrüßung. Oliven. Getränke. Oasis outside Split by the sea.

The property was everything and more than we expected. House was very large and having each bedroom as en-suite was a luxury. House was very clean. Wonderful vine shade really helped as we had a heat wave. I would definitely recommend a car. Public transport was not great. Would definitely return.

Large family group

Villa is exactly as described, large house and garden with plenty of space for a large group and perfectly placed for the small ( pebble) beach and ocean. Small shop close by was handy but little else within walking distance which was disappointing, Podstrana isn’t the prettiest of places but is well placed for visiting surrounding area ( traffic is bad getting into Split) Owner responded very quickly to the couple of messages we sent. Couple of cons, beds were found to be very hard by us all also not enough glasses and mugs for a large group.

Beautiful home in Podstrana

This is a great home for large groups! It has individual bedrooms with there own bathrooms. We were 13 people and it was very functional for our group. A few days before our trip we inquired about a chef to cook for us and we were put in touch with a guy named Martin. He cooked for us our first night there and it was AMAZING! From that point forward he was our contact for everything. He did everything for us…gave us directions, brought us ice, packed picnic lunches for excursions, gave us coffee, wine and the list goes on and on. He made the trip more memorable and definitely helped us navigate everything better. If you stay in this house you must reach out to Martin, he is awesome. He owns a property just a few houses down.

Wunderschöner Urlaub in traumhafter Villa

Die Villa ist traumhaft! Sie bietet 14 Personen genügend Platz. Sie ist in jeder Beziehung sehr gut ausgestattet und sauber. Die Wohnräume sind großzügig, hell und hochwertig ausgestattet. Der Pool und die Lounge Ecke sind wunderschön. Der gepflegte Garten läd zum Entspannen ein. Das Meer liegt direkt hinter dem Garten. Die Terrasse mit der Sitzgelegenheit unter dem Wein ist sehr gemütlich. Wir sind sehr gastfreundlich mit Getränken und einem kleinen Buffet, von den Eigentümern empfangen und begrüßt worden. Wir können die Villa nur empfehlen. Vielen Dank für den schönen Urlaub.

Villa Amor - 12 Canadians review!!

Villa is stunning, there were 12 of us & each had a beautiful room & on suite!! The location is fantastic, sunsets were breathtaking!! Very clean, lovely people to deal with, our coffee machine wasn’t working well & we had a replacement within hours!! We would highly recommend this villa!!
