We stayed for 11 nights over Christmas. I chose the house b/c it was pet friendly & had 5 bdrms. It’s a VERY NICE HOUSE & WE’D STAY AGAIN as it has a nice open flow for a lg family group. However, there are a couple of caveats - the pool house is 1 of the 5 bdms. The temps were in the 30s at night & there’s no heat in the pool house, except for the bathroom. Also, the main house has a fireplace guests are not allowed to use. That s/b plainly stated somewhere obvious. We couldn’t get it to work and asked twice before being told it was a liability issue.
I gave this house a 4 b/c the price was increased significantly over the holidays and there were issues when we arrived, issues that should’ve been addressed beforehand by the management company.
There was no soap for sinks or baths/ showers with the exception of 1 bottle in the master bath and a bottle of Dawn by the kitchen sink (soap is basic). The can opener was broken (a guest comment from October mentioned it). We arrived on a Friday, which was one of the designated days for trash pickup, but the can was left full and had not taken out for
pickup. We had to add our trash and Christmas wrapping, etc to an already full can on the next pickup day. Lastly, there were no linens provided for the pool house. We had to get the code for the locked closet.
I let the prop mgr know when we departed & got no response. Most homeowners reply right away. This was just kind of a strange situation, all around, but a nice house.
