Fantastic Property in Tranquil seaside location.
Great getaway, not too far from Hobart, just a short drive from Port Arthur Historic Site, Local Cafe and distillary. Very well apointed property - we made use of sunny verandah, hot tub, very well appointed kitchen and open plan living and dining areas.

The shack
The shack is a fantastic place to stay at the location was excellent so close to a lot of attractions. The attention to detail inside and out is fantastic the out door spa was excellent was so warm and inviting on our end of July stay. It’s the little things like the toilet paper,tissues,shower accessories,bread and milk on arrival is so appreciated. The cleanliness is fantastic the beds were all so comfortable and bedding was very good quality. I would definitely recommend you stay at this property you won’t be disappointed.

Great short break
Wonderful short break. Loved sitting on the comfy sofa on the front deck with morning coffee, listening to the birdsong. Perfect set up at rear with hot tub and well-lit covered BBQ / pizza oven area. Inside, the stove/ oven has been upgraded since the photos. Kitchen well-equipped. Great to have breakfast fixings including fresh bread, milk & butter provided, along with the choice of reasonably priced selection of local wines. Great sized dining table - good for board games ( although the lights are a bit dim for this). Teens enjoyed the large screen TV. Discovered the Port Arthur Ghost tours only run Weds-Sat, so will be planning a return trip. EV drivers will love the Zappi EV charger!

Thanks for the wonderful review Deb. EV charger will be soon we hope - there's a bit of upgrading to the meter box before it can go live though. I'll swap out those lights over the dining table this week. Cheers, Andrew and Sharon

Port Arthur stay
This property was beautifully presented. The owner met us at the property and detailed basic information. The owners had provided many homely touches including condiments, fresh bread and milk and cereals. The hot tub was a great surprise.

Relaxing
We’ll appointed , everything you need fully equipped kitchen,laundry plus a very good pantry with emergency cooking supplies, comfortable bed and good shower & bath , very friendly Currawongs That happily feed out of your hands on the deck, a nice place to stay.

Lovely family getaway
The outdoor spa and pizza oven were perfect for a winter staycation. The children loved it and plenty to do in the area for the whole family. We will definitely be back :)

Fantastic house and amazing hosts
We have a great time in this house. It has all the comfort required for a family with 2 teens. It is located in a quiet neighbourhood and close to tourists attractions. The managers of this house are amazing and made us feel welcome all the time.

We had the best stay! 6mins to Port Arthur historic site. The house suited us with 4 adults and 2 kids and a wonderfully generous well stocked pantry with breakfast provisions & coffee! We will be recommending this place to family holidaying.

Excellent accommodation. Highly recommended.
The accommodation was spotlessly clean when we arrived and was very well equipped. Andrew was an excellent host and very helpful with any questions we had and keen to make our stay as enjoyable and as memorable as possible. The cottage is a short walk from the beach and close to many of Port Arthur’s attractions. The local store is a short drive away and very well stocked with lots of local Tassie goodies. We had take out delivered and delivery was quick and efficient and the food was great, huge portions and very well priced. The hot tub was a great way to spend a relaxing evening, for both kids and adults. Great accommodation and hosts and would highly recommend.
