C-Level Review and Important Tips for Future Guests
Pros:Beautiful, well-appointed home with excellent amenities and fantastic beach location!Cons & Recommendations: Freight Elevator Inoperable: Not available for guest use. Butler’s Pantry misrepresented: If you noticed a butler’s pantry & 2nd refrigerator in the listing, be aware that guests don't have access to it. The door is kept locked, as the owner uses it for personal storage. We founda workaround to store our extra food. Check for Linen Bags on Arrival: The owner claims linen laundry bags visible upon check-in & they weren't. If they are missing, contact the owner immediately & document their absence. We were wrongly accused of accidentally taking them, but they were never present in rooms 1 & 4 where the owner was told by her cleaning co that they were left. Document All Towels: Upon arrival & departure, take clear pictures & count all beach towels, bath towels,& dish towels. We were accused of accidentally taking a bath towel, which we did not. Inspect Everything Thoroughly: Take photos throughout the home at check-in & check-out to protect yourself from any disputes. Toilets: Test all commodes before use. The water supply in Room #2 was turned off, and we discovered this after attempting to use it. After a call with the owner, my nephew found the valve & restored the water supply. Missing Essentials: Contrary to the owner’s claims, the cleaning crew did not leave toilet paper in every bathroom or detergent pods in the designated area
