When we arrive the place was not clean, the beds had not been made, they were still dirty from the people before us. The island was full of stuff, there was a vacuum cleaner still out just laying on the floor. There were dirty towels and linen in the washroom on the floor. The fridge was dirty there were dirty dishes in the sink. I called and emailed about this, I did get a fairly quick response, I was told they would come back and finish cleaning but would be awhile as she was in Galveston. I was also told they would refund the cleaning fee for the inconvenience. So we left, loaded our bags back into the car to allow time for them to come back and finish cleaning. Mind you when we came to check in it was after check in time by approx 30-45 mins. We came back by a couple hours later they were there cleaning so we continued to stay away for another hour Once it was clean and we were able to go back, we had a nice stay, the place met our needs.
Once we got back home I kept checking for my refund. I never received it, reached out to Evolve was told they would get me the refund and that she had tried to email me while we were there to bring it by. We were on vacation, I didn't check my emails, and they had my number and could have called as well but did not. I went back and forth with them for several weeks, was given the run around, told several times I would get my refund, that was more than a month ago, still no refund!!
