Un alojamiento estupendo en una isla maravillosa
Nos alojamos en la suite, todo el impecable. Espaciosa, bonita, con todos los servicios necesarios para disfrutar de una estancia inolvidable. La comida tanto del restaurante como del snack bar excelente, un poco cara pero claro, en sí toda la isla lo es. Las instalaciones del hotel, están muy bien y tiene muchas zonas con lo que puedes elegir varias zonas de piscina y playa. Punto negativo es que la playa del hotel no es buena teniendo en cuenta las playas que hay en la isla, nosotros salíamos fuera casi todos los días excepto si queríamos estar de día de piscina ya que estando allí lo que quieres es playa de nivel. El personal muy atento, simpático y muy dispuestos a ayudarte. En la zona de Black Parrot donde están las suites, hay menos personal y es más complicado encontrarles pero llamas y te atienden. El wifi en el hotel y en la habitación funciona perfectamente con algún parón lógico de estar en una isla apartada de todo pero sin problema ninguno incluso por si necesitas trabajar un poco. A 15 min en coche del puerto donde se coge el barco para La Digue y a unos 30 de la playa de Anze Lazio, pero más cerca hay otras también muy bien. En definitiva, lo recomiendo 100%.

Hotel muy recomendable.
Buen hotel. En términos generales satisfechos. El mobiliario es algo anticuado. Nuestra habitación tenía dos niveles separados por dos escalones altos, lo que la hace inadecuada para gente con movilidad reducida. Desayuno de calidad y en cantidad. El párking es reducido (5 ó 6 plazas), aunque nunca vimos más de tres coches parcados. El check out es a las 10am, pero te puedes seguir utilizando sus instalaciones y tienen duchas, aunque sólo de agua fría, para que las uses antes de irte definitivamente.

Muy buen hotel con muy buena atención.
Hemos pasado 4 noches en este hotel y la impresión ha sido excelente. Estuvimos alojados en una de las suites de Black Parrot. El desayuno tipo buffet es bueno y variado. La cena también es de tipo buffet y cada día es distinta. La variedad de los alimentos es excelente así como la calidad. Además el personal del hotel está siempre pendiente por si te falta algo, por si necesitas alguna explicación en algún plato, etc... La variedad de los vinos es buena y los precios son contenidos para lo que te puedes encontrar en Seychelles. El hotel está situado al sur de la isla de Praslin. Las mejores playas están en el norte con lo que es casi imprescindible alquilar un coche (60 € con seguro) y moverse por la isla, porque merece mucho la pena. De todos modos el hotel cuenta con un autobús gratuito que sale todos los días a las 09:30 am y que te deja en la playa de Anse Lazio, posiblemente la mejor playa de Seychelles. El mismo autobús a las 15:00 te lleva devuelta al hotel. El personal del hotel es excelente, todo lo que necesites lo hacen con rapidez y siempre de forma muy educada. Si necesitas un taxi, un coche, información de restaurantes para comer en la isla, reservar el barco para ir a la Digue (lo recomiendo encarecidamente), etc, ellos te lo gestionarán de forma rápida y eficaz. Yo viajé a Seychelles por libre (sin ninguna mayorista) y no tuve el mínimo problema en nada. Recomiendo mucho este hotel, seguro que estaréis encantados en el. Un saludo.

Lots of flies in the room. Couldn’t turn on the lights because flies would swarm. Overall staff was friendly but the price we paid to stay in a room full of flies was not up to my standards

Unfortunately being in the tropics also comes with certain shortfalls - whereby sometimes one is inundated with what mother nature bestows upon us. These are midges and not folies and although very frustrating and irritating when they invade ones room - or our islands - there is very little we can do to prevent this - and that is why - we do advise guests to keep their room doors and windows closed at night - to minimise the effect of this. This does not occur often - thankfully and we are sorry that you had the experience of these flying ants.We apologise for the inconvenience and wish you a safe and peaceful year ahead.

Vi hadde 3 netter i Green parrot suites. Rommene var store og med fin utsikt, men er utdaterte og trenger en oppussing. Fellesområdene er bra, maten er grei med litt lite utvalg, men servicen var til gjengjeld meget bra!

We spent 3 nights in a superior room. The room was spacious with shower and bath options and high ceiling. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a secluded area and it has 2 beaches where only access to them are via the hotel property. In terms of shops, bars or restaurants, there is nothing around the hotel but it’s not needed anyways as you can get pretty much everything from the hotel. We had half board option. There is also complimentary coffee/tea with cookies time between 16:00-17:00. The prices for the drinks and the cocktails were reasonable (5-6 € for a glass of wine, 10-12 € for cocktails). Breakfast and dinner buffet had good quality of foods with lots of meat/fish and vegetarian/vegan varieties. We visited the hotel in mid December, it had a bit of sea weeds but it was not the case for every day. Around the pier, one could do snorkeling to see some fishes. There is also a water sport activities offered for free from the hotel, such as kayak, paddle board, etc.

Enjoyed our stay. The hotel has beautiful surroundings and solid options to lounge during the day. Bonuses were free parking, complementary place to fill your own water bottles as well as complementary afternoon tea. The location is far from other places on the island, but transport few times of week for anse lazio was offered or easy to rent a car. We also ate at the hotel 3/4 nights, the food was good and seemed like other places on the island were equally pricey. Shout out to Tracey for excellent pedicure!

Ich hatte einen fantastischen Aufenthalt bei Coco de Mer! Das Personal war unglaublich freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Buffet am Morgen wie am Abend war sehr gut und schön angerichtet. Zimmer mit einer Aussicht direkt auf das Meer war atemberaubend. Der Pool, besonders während des Sonnenuntergangs, war ein absoluter Traum. Ich kann diese Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen und freue mich schon auf meinen nächsten Besuch!

In a case like this the Spa discount - is automatically offered by them to you - should you use the spa - and this is generally received when you make the booking with them.Nevertheless, please accept our apologies accordingly.The general check in procedure is that after your briefing, once your key is presented to you - you will be escorted to your room accordingly. As there were also other guests arriving simultaneously - and according to how the rooms are made available and ready - Ahmed did meet you in the lobby and personally escorted you to your room.We apologise - should there have been an oversight on our part - however it does seem that you enjoyed your stay with us - and we take this opportunity in wishing you pleasant and safe onward travels - and a some lovely memories of your stay in the Seychelles.

Honeymoon in den Black Parrot Suites
Ein perfekter Start in unsere Flitterwochen. Unsere Suite war wunderschön und hatte einen wunderbaren, vom Wind geschützten Balkon in Richtung Sonnenuntergang (Suite 503). Wir haben uns von jedem Mitarbeiter willkommen gefühlt und wurden rundum zuvorkommend versorgt. Auf das Frühstück haben wir uns jeden Tag aufs Neue gefreut und auch das Abendessen à la carte getestet und für sehr gut befunden. Die kleine Mittagskarte am Poolrestaurant hat uns ebenfalls überzeugt. An der ein oder anderen Ecke könnte man ggf. noch etwas mehr aus der Anlage “herausholen” (z.B. privater Strandbereich der Black Parrot Suites), aber das hat an dieser Stelle keinen Einfluss auf unsere Gesamtbewertung. Wir würden uns hier auf Praslin zu 100% wieder für das Coco de Mer, respektive die Black Parrot Suites entscheiden.

The family of 4 of us stayed at the Coco de Mer for 14 days in May 2023. We really loved the holiday and the location, nice, and quiet, enjoyed the relaxation. My Mom had the accident, the staff was really very attentive and understanding. Many thanks to Collette and Harry and others during the food servings and Ahmed for organizing our trips and excursions and also my Dad's birthday cake. We really had a great time.

Gorgeous little hideaway
Lovely little hideaway. Pretty units overlooking the beach and ocean. Staff was very attentive and can't fault any of them. It's a little cut off so you would need taxis or a rental car to get around. Food was great too :)

Great!
I liked the hotel and everything about it. But I think in general to stay less days in Praslin island and longer in La Digue works better.

Very nice place, peaceful and quiet. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Had free shuttle bus to Anse Lazio which was fabulous. Food was decent. Beach was ok, lots of grass/seaweed on the bottom. Drinks were below average. Don't think they know how to make them. Overall a good experience and would stay again.

Underbart hotell med fantastisk service!
Fantastiskt trevligt hotell med fin service. Lagom stort, lugnt och avkopplande. Bra för par eller vuxengäng. Hotellet ordnade trevliga utflykter (utan kostnad). Fanns alltid solstolar etc lediga på många olika ställen, poolen, trädgården, stranden mm. Det finns dock inget annat runt hotellet, vilket man bör vara medveten om. Vi älskade dock detta ställe!

Beautiful hotel with a view!
Gorgeous hotel with beautiful location! Stayed here for 4 nights in one of the black parrot suites. The view form the room was magical (stayed in room 3)… The staff was very friendly and helpful always with a hello, good morning and a 😊. Fore free you can borrow canoes and other things in the “water section”, a cute library is also available! Good food in the restaurant and a nice breakfast! I really hope to come back someday 🙏.

Mycket trevligt hotell
Bodde här i Black Parrot som är en egen del av hotellet med egen pool och reception/bartender. Black Parrot är ett väldigt harmoniskt och lyxigt hotell som är perfekt för en avkopplande semester. Ett litet minus för en något hård säng och att man bäddar med bara ett lakan, inte ett täcke.

Simply Awesome!! So happy that we enjoyed one week of our Honeymoon there! Very spacious & los of nice, quiet places to relax. Giant rooms with sea view and comfy bath tub! Incredible friendly & helpful staff/mgmt team and delicious food complete the package for a great, relaxing vacation. Btw, kayak, SUP, welcome drinks, coffee etc. are all complementary!

We are delighted that it was enjoyable.Our menu is a mix of International and Creole Cuisines - and we are only able to offer a limited number of Indian dishes on our menu - as we have guests staying with us from around the world - and have to cater towards a broader market rather than a specific one accordingly. Nevertheless - we trust that you enjoyed the meals provided - and hopefully you explored our Creole Cuisine as well. Maravilhosa hospedagem!
Excelente hotel, quarto espaçoso, limpo e muito confortável. Hotel muito bem cuidado, com a manutenção em dia. Na chegada fomos recebidos com welcome drink, pessoal muito atencioso, recepção, garçons, todos muito simpáticos e prestativos. Gastronomia do hotel também era muito boa, destaque para o hamburguer! muito saboroso e bem servido! Achamos o valor do buffet do jantar muito caro (R$250,00 por pessoa), mas em Seychelles tudo é muito caro, no geral, esse foi o único ponto negativo. This is a privately-owned hotel with 52 rooms only. Very friendly staff! Nice location. Comfortable rooms. VERY GOOD restaurant - a-la-carte prices mutch less, compare to outside restaurants. Food is great - everything i tried was testy, fresh, well prepared. Stayed in this hotel 5 days and every day tried different food in the restaurant. Wasn't disappointed - food was great. Negative: This hotel is mentioned as Expedia VIP Access hotel. As Golden Expedia member i was expecting standard addtional perks - room upgrade (if rooms available), SPA discounts, etc. Unfortunately, nobody care that you Expedia Golden client. So, VIP Access status of the hotel not real. The rest - nice hotel to stay. Really noce for it's price (if you can't afford higher priced hotels like Constance, for example). If i would have to stay again on Praslin, i would most probably chose Coco de Mer Hotel again.

It is wonderful to read that you had a most enjoyable stay - however disappointed with the VIP access for Expedia guests. Unfortunately at the time of check in - upgrade rooms were unavailable - as this perk is based upon availability - and unfortunately this was not possible - however, as per the other Expedia VIP Perks - there is a 20% off the spa treatments for the VIP Members - and this is loaded onto our system - and should you have used the spa services you would have benefitted off the discount - and the other perk as per your booking confirmation from Expedia is free on site parking - should you have had a vehicle - the use for parking on property is uncharged.We apologize for any shortcomings - wherever we may have faltered - nevertheless, you were delightful guests and we hope you have taken some lovely memories of your stay back home with you.Warm regards and best wishes
