6/10
Overall we enjoyed our stay, but I would not recommend this property primarily because of the location. On the positive, the condos were relatively new, and therefore mostly well maintained. The security door and keycode access worked perfectly. Adeline, the caretaker, was very responsive and helpful. The pool was nice, although in December we would have recommended a covering to help hold in heat, as it was too cold to swim in. The view from the center condo's 2nd level was great, as you could see the Leeward Shore. Access to Grace Bay beach or downtown was an easy 10 minute commute. On the negative, the neighborhood looked like a dystopian futuristic world that had been ravaged. Roosters crowed at all hours, feral dogs barked in a call-and-response cacophony rather frequently, and the faint odor of sewage was unmistakable. Except for the view from the top floor of the center condo, the rest were rather atrocious. One of the toilets did not work, and they did not fix this during our stay, so we had to shut the water off and on to use it. The kitchens were woefully understocked, with 2-3 each of cups, bowls, plates, cutlery pieces, and pans. If you don't want to use the kitchen, that's fine, but we wanted to cook our meals so we had to buy stuff. The blender was missing (we needed blended drinks, of course) but Adeline brought us one. Also, the large blinds in the main living area fell down. But people were friendly and the island was nice, so we still had a good time.
