Thank you for choosing our place. The guests moved from the apartment into the main part of the house on the 31st of January for the rest of their stay to better enjoy the views of the Atlantic Ocean in front and row of mountains filled with night lights in the back of the house.

We are saddened and dismayed at reading this review. The guest alleges that a few dollars were stolen by Dani, the caretaker, from her apartment. We have great difficulty in believing that Dani stole this money. Dani has been in our employment for the past 6 years. No one - and we underscore no one- has ever complained or alleged of any money or valuable being stolen during their stay at our place. Nor have we ever noticed any money or thing of value missing from our house despite the fact that Dani has full access to the house while we are out of town. In fact, guests have invariably praised Dani for his courtesy, gentleness, and the desire to accommodate the wishes of the guests. We invite prospective tenants to read other reviews concerning Dani.. And we, nor any of the guests, have ever felt the need to install dead bolts. Entry to the apartment is indispensable in the case of an emergency such as fire. The amount in question is really a pittance. It is likely that this guest is simply mistaken. She was apparently drunk half of the time. And it is possible that she simply did not remember having spent the small amounts elsewhere and was unduly perturbed when she could not account for the small amounts that she thought were missing. Our experience with this guest was rather negative. She stayed 7 weeks at our place and never gave even a penny in tips to the caretaker, even though he regularly cleaned her apartment and washed her clothes free of charge. He normally gets paid $5 per load of laundry. It is also disheartening to note that the entire review is based on the allegation that some money was stolen from her. It says nothing about the place, the beautiful views, the safe location, or our hospitality (we invited her on several occasions for drinks, cake and/or coffee and took her to the town for shopping). Apparently, it was written out of spite when we refused to believe her (rather than our caretaker). She in fact threatened us in writing that she will write a rather bad review if we did not compensate her. First six weeks of her stay at our property she was full of praise and often she told us how much she loved staying here and enjoying views of sunset and sunrise.

It was great to have Debbie and Rhonda stay at our place. We enjoyed their company and our conversations. They were very responsible, friendly and polite. They observed all the rules of the apartment and left it in clean condition. They are most welcome to come again.

It was great to have Kent stay at our place. He was friendly and polite. He observed all our house rules and when left the place was fairly clean. We would welcome back kent. He did expressed his wish to stay longer but had to leave. Hemu and Yash Owner
