There was a central shortcut of power in the area which damaged some of the installations and our team worked really hard to restore everything asap. We are surprised to read that you´ve been left with the impression that our front desk concierge doesn´t speak English. She receives guests from all over the world daily and we have a pretty strong record of her good relations with our guests. As per the electric charge, electricity is usually charged separately in the zone and with the official local rate. We have it announced on our Expedia profile under the column ¨You need to know¨. This said, we absolutely agree with you that it should be more visible and will be working with Expedia for more transparency as we´d like our guests to be well-informed always. We wish you had contacted us while here about the issues you´ve experienced with the air conditioning and the hot water (it is strange as hot water is automatic and does not need to be turned on). Our maintenance team would have taken care of the issues immediately. Regarding the food and drinks, we take note of your suggestions for our beach bar/restaurant and would like to highlight that we are located in a zone with many other restaurants with a variety of options and we also have a supermarket on site for our guests´ convenience. As we inform on our profile, electricity at the property is charged per consumption and this is a frequent policy among vacation rentals in the area. The rates in the electricity policy are an average based on the official local rates and are calculated based on the consumption. For maximum transparency, metrics are taken in the guest´s presence upon check-in and check-out. We sincerely do not know your reasons for saying that you´ve been charged more than a regular one-month consumption at your condo when the reality is that you´ve left without completing the regular check-out process and you weren´t even there when the final metrics of your consumption were taken. Your consumption was minimal and as per the moment of writing this reply, you have not even been charged yet. We take reviews very seriously and they have a big impact not only on our future guests but also on our way of operation, as we always strive to get better, listen to our customers and make improvements. Disculpa los inconvenientes, pero al llegar se les advirtió que tenían una cierta cantidad de electricidad incluida y si excedían debían el consumo normal ustedes debían pagar la diferencia. Usted dijo que no había inconveniente. Fueron 60 USD de diferencia. Ustedes tuvieron encendidos los 4 aires acondicionados las 24 horas. Nosotros cobramos el kw al mismo precio que la compañía eléctrica
