Clean and well appointed
This was a great alternative to hotel and closer than staying in Puyallup or Lakewood. Quiet and safe neighborhood! House was very clean and well appointed. Would recommend this property again!

Neighborhood Vrbo
Secure comfortable home in upper middle class residential neighborhood. House is well stocked. Half hour or further from everything. Half hr to JBLM. Parking is limited, use garage. Had great week with family/grandchildren in 2st floor and 2nd floor family areas. High traffic volume is an adjustment. Would stay here again. Best regards, Grandma and Grandpa

Great Stay
Perfect home and location for a visit to Washington to site see and visit our son stationed at Lewis McChord. The home was exactly as described with plenty of room and well stocked kitchen for our meals. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would definitely stay again.

The location worked well for us. Just say a 1/4 of a mile for our son's house. Our use of the house was somewhat limited because we were at our sons house for meals and meetings. Still it worked well for us.

Amazing space for the price
The VRBO was just what we needed for our stay. The parking was cramped and hard to maneuver for my mid size SUV, but the garage parking was very helpful and the house was comfortable.

Clean, beautiful house, but HOT
While we realize Washington doesn’t get hot often, it was very hot while we were there, 90’s and above. It was unbearable in the house during the day. It finally got cool enough after 11 pm but returned quickly to 85+ in the house by 9 am. There is no way we could have stayed there much longer. Other than that, it was a great location, great space. Owner should consider putting in AC or other system.

It is a rare occasion that it gets warm there. The temps get to the 60's at night at that time. It appears they may not have opened windows downstairs to create the draft. Every room upstairs has ceiling fans and box fans are in the house as well. A/C is not common in a majority of homes there. It is difficult to believe it was 85 by 9am if the outside at night is in the 60's. The only way that could happen is if windows were not opened downstairs and upstairs.

Nice home, clean
This property was clean and very spacious. A good halfway point between Seattle and Mount Rainier. Neighborhood was safe and had many restaurants and grocery stores nearby.

Family Vacation
We went to Puyallup to visit family. Ron's house was perfect for us! It was close to all of our family members and very comfortable. Ron was very pleasant and easy to work with. Next time we go back to Puyallup to visit our family, we'll be staying here!

Extraordinary home! Immaculate and lux…
As an active duty family of almost thirty years; having traveled the world from London, Spain, Italy, Germany, Belgium, France, Switzerland, and all over the U.S. (Virgin Islands, Florida, etc.), I couldn’t have been more impressed from the beautifully furnished and supplied home, to the small details. The home was extremely clean; the beds where very comfortable; the showers had perfect pressure; the supplies were more than enough for a family of four; the garage was spacious for our two car rentals; drive way held two additional cars, and parking in front of the home as well. Drive to front of house (easy access & back alley -easiest access…loved it.) Downstairs living space (living room, dining room, kitchen, sitting area and island in the kitchen for morning chats over breakfast, beautiful artwork throughout, spacious bathrooms (3); theater seating in the upstairs family room with couch and entertainment center. Four bedrooms upstairs with large closets; lots of extra clean sheets, blankets, pillows; fully furnished laundry room/towels/face clothes, kitchen, and supplies; huge soaking tub “and” a huge walk-in shower; separate toilet room, and double sink vanity with privacy door; quiet family friendly safe neighborhood; off the beat and path but only 5 mins to Starbucks, grocery stores, shopping; 20 minutes to SouthHill Mall (theater/restaurants/Walmart/Target/Freeway…). We have traveled the world for thirty years as an active duty military family, and I have never had a better stay. I’m the traveler that documents “everything” and inspects everything, and I can say for the first time in all my travels “this VBRO was perfect.” I highly recommend this VBRO. I plan to make this home my home away from home when traveling again to the area. The owner was “amazing!!!!” He went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect…and it was.

EXCELLENT
I owned a B & B in Catalina for many years and this place is a 5 star rating. The only thing that I wish that the master bath had another towel rack( one doesn't do it) and a hook on bath door. A floor lamp upstairs in corner by couch and chairs so at night better to watch TV than overhead bright lights. Scissors in kitchen would be nice. Highly recommend this place for adults and family with children.

Just adjust the thermostat to get heat from the furnace. It works fine. It is a new ECOBEE thermostat.

The home has an alley entrance to the garage with room for 2 cars inside and 3 cars outside. Privacy is not a concern at all unless you run around without clothes. In 16 years I have never heard such a thing. All windows have coverings that are adjustable.

Wonderful home and location
The home itself is very well maintained and well stocked with furniture and utensils. literally no front or backyard to speak of. Neighborhood is quiet and has a playground down the street. we were disappointed to find out the house was not ready at the agreed upon 4pm check-in time and would not be ready until maybe 7pm. as we had no place to go we occupied the residence as the cleaners went about their business. The only thing the owner said was 'sorry for the inconvenience' and offered no compensation for the late check-in inconvenience. Aside for the check-in debacle our stay was enjoyable.

One time in 16 years a miscommunication in the busiest time of the year. The house was ready shortly after 6pm when the housekeeper called me. Normally I delay check-in in a back to back rental to 5-6pm. In this case I simply forgot to do so. I apologized to the person who rented the house but he did not actually stay in it. It was for his relatives I believe. I have had this happen to me in hotels many times over the years and we simply had to wait. No compensation was ever offered. I believe a little understanding is needed these days as I had communicated to them prior to check-in so it would not be a surprise. Sometimes other tenants do not always leave timely as required and we are at their mercy.

This was a great place to stay! The pictures are good but the place is nicer than the pictures.
We came from the east to visit my son and his wife and new baby. The place was a great spot to gather and enjoy each other's company. Unfortunately there is no yard whatsoever, but it is easy to walk around the neighborhood. We were close to everything that we wanted to do. The next time we come out we will definitely be staying here.

Definitely would stay again!
Great in every way. Generously and beautifully furnished. The only thing I would recommend is to wash all towels again because they had a slight odor of mildew as if they were in the washer too long before being out in the dryer. Fantastic stay! Very relaxing place for us.

World access
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your home. Only one criticism----no instructions on how to access standard TV stations ie. ABC, NBC & CBS. None of us knew how to operate it and we didn't want to guess.

I wish you would have messaged me. New technology can be difficult at times. The local channels are on the Pluto app downstairs and also available on the upstairs TV'S by antenna. Streaming is the new way to have access to 100's of channels , movies and programs. You can also use your own private apps from home by logging in with your private password. Ron

Seattle family vacation
We decided to take a trip to the Pacific Northwest for the first time and we’re pleased with the location of the property to all the attractions. From mount rainier to downtown all within a couple hours. The house was as advertised and perfect for my family of 4. Would stay here again.

Beautifully decorated, comfortable home.
Was perfect for our family of 5 who traveled to area for our grandson's graduation. It easily accomadated his family of 4 to come by and visit. We were already very familiar with area, so knew it was close to restaurants, groceries stores, but a 30 to 40 min+ drive to sightseeing places like NW Trek, Mt Rainier, and things to do in Tacoma, and Puyallup.

Large and Spacious
We had a lovely stay at this home. It had more than enough space for our party of 4. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was well equipped. Although there is no A/C in the house, there are ample fans provided to make the temp more tolerable in warmer weather. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

good location for some things
Location: lots of shopping close by - eating etc. Cell phone reception anywhere in house: zero for at&t. TV setup wierd. No locals. Assortment of services pluto hulu netflix etc. Some require your account info. Seattle traffic sucks - not LA or Houston bad but bad enough.

Some local channels are available on Pluto. Cell service is best if you connect to the wifi. In 14 years this is a first I have heard. I wish he would have called me. I could have assisted. Thanks for your business, Ron

The house large enough for our group but a bit away from main attractions
This property was great in that it slept 6 people easily and was well equipped. We were not from the area and up for our son's graduation from UPS so while the house is close to Tacoma, it is at least a 30 min drive plus or minus traffic each way. House close to main shopping but not a house to entertain, but great for accomodation Neighborhood quiet.

Beautifully Furnished
The home was beautifully furnished and had everything to make you feel at home. The master bedroom furniture was stunning and the bed was very comfortable with a nice big bathroom. It was only my husband and I however from the size of the house I would say 6 people would be comfortable however it sleeps more . There is really no back yard for playing if you have children as the homes are very close to each other. It almost feels like condo living because of how close you are to your neighbors. You only have a view of the backs of the houses from the backyard .The house does not have any leftover provisions from previous renters such as basics, salt, pepper, spices, sugar etc. It did have a nice amount of paper goods. It is a great home if you are going to be on the go and do not need a place to relax in the back yard. Great for business trips and if you are visiting relatives .

The community has a playground for children about 2 blocks from the home. Homes are being built on smaller lots these days. Its the way is if you want affordable housing. Thank you for your business. Ron

Very comfortable stay
This home was extremely comfortable. My family of 6 people stayed in this home and it was lovely. Everyone said their beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space to spread out. The house was very clean and well maintained. The neighborhood was quite and the neighbors seemed friendly. The house is conviently located with stores and restaurants near by. We were approximately 45 minutes away from Sea Tac Airport and 30 minutes from JBLM, not including traffic delays. If we come back to this area, we will rent this home again. I highly recommend renting this beautiful home to families or large groups.

So much space, everyone seemed to have a spot to relax alone.
Spacious, clean, & neat. Lots of towels if needed. Great to be able to pull into the garage, although not big enough for two cars. Beds were very comfy. Thank goodness for the central heating instead of those stand alone wall heating units. Washer & dryer are big. Combo to door/garage is the way to go...no lost Keyes or dealing with exchange of Keyes. Perfect location for our family. Owner is very prompt & polite with responses to messages. We'd recommend this home for families, has 3 queens & 1 king, 2 1/2 bathrooms, plenty of dishware for family mealtimes. Yes, we would stay at this home again if we needed to.

Clean, convenient, well-equipped
This 3 bdrm townhouse + loft with bed was immaculate and had all amenities (paper products, bathroom toiletries, garage for car). I was there with 2 friends - we were attending a 5 day seminar in nearby Graham, WA. Very convenient. (Note: listing says has central AC, but it does NOT - this didn’t affect us as weather was nice. 70s during the day and 50s at night).

I am sorry but the listing has never said it has Central AC. There is a sign on the thermostat in the house stating that fact also. Its probably a mistaken read. I will however check to see if in all the changes going on with HOMEAWAY there may be a glitch. Folllow up in the description it asks for AC and it said none. However at some point the site listed it as if it had AC. I erased the AC and the "none". Another point is the home is a single family home and not a townhouse. Townhomes are connected to other homes. This home stands alone. thank you for the business. Ron

Very nice place to stay.
Only thing is the AC did not work. We came from Alaska and we need cold it was too hot for us. Good thing is their was fans in every room. But over all was a great house and very clean to stay.

The house does not have AC. It has never had AC. It is clearly marked on the thermostat as not having AC. In situations as an unusual warm day you merely open the sliding patio door down stairs and open the upstairs windows to create a venture effect. The 50-60 degree night air will cool the house in very little time. It is not advertised with AC. For those handful of days every year we provide the fans to help with air movement until the cool evening air arrives . You have to open the windows on those few days a year. thank you, Ron
