We booked this home months ago for our family to stay in for my daughter’s college graduation. We were to get the checkin code on the day of our arrival at 3:30pm. At 4 pm, which was checkin time, we still had not received the code. I contacted the host. After several minutes, I received a message that the AC was not working and that the reservation would need to be cancelled. Keep in mind, this is after the scheduled checkin time and only after I had asked about the checkin code. Also keep in mind that this was for NC State graduation, a weekend in which the families of 6800 graduates are coming into town. I understand that things happen, but I do not understand why we were not contacted about the issue earlier. I have been told we’ll receive a full refund. Absolutely disappointed.
