The staff needs some work. My husband and I who are Marriott Bonvoy members were denied breakfast rudely by a female front desk employee. The first room that we were given had no working AC in the room and fridge was warm. I am so disappointed and dissatisfied!

Would stay here again. The convenience of a variety of restaurants and shopping in just walking distance. There were two things I had an issue with is first there was not enough towels and bath cloths provided in the room. Even with housekeeping freshened our room there were only3 bath towels 2 hand towels and no bath cloths. We had 4 people staying in a two queen room. Second, when we got to the hotel at 5p there was not a room available for us. Luckily we were just walking distance to Bar Taco to have drinks and dine to pass the time. But other than that the front desk was very helpful and the valets were quick to bring our car around. Definitely would stay here again.

We absolutely love staying at The Renaissance Hotel most of the time. It’s a close walk to shopping and food. Staff are always excellent! We spent one night for our anniversary the first weekend in March, it was not as special as previous stays. The staff were excellent as normal. My complaint was it was hot in the room and even when someone came to look at our thermostat it stayed hot all night. We even purchased fans from Target. The worst part was their main water line busted in the middle of the night and we had no hot water to shower or freshen up before checkout. They did discount the stay but overall our stay was a 4 out of 10, normally it’s a 10 out of 10. Total disappointment from our normal stays.

Check in at 4pm but our room wasn’t ready until 7pm and then they had the nerve to give us a hard time for requesting a late checkout on their least busy day (actually overheard a staff member complaining about what a slow day they were having with only about 30 people checking in that day). Our carpet was stained and almost crunchy/rough to the touch.

It was a very average hotel with slightly below-average rooms at higher than average cost. The light fixtures and furniture felt cheap and showed signs of wear. The shower was weak, and the water was lukewarm. I called ahead to confirm room's amenities with on-site guest services and was told no coffee maker; no mini fridge; no microwave; wifi at additional charge. But hey, you get a SAFE, a hair dryer, and an iron/ironing board. There are higher quality lodging options for the same or lower pricing.

Loved the staff, breakfast was delicious. Everything is in walking distance and there are options to choose from! The bed was the most uncomfortable hotel bed I have ever slept in. My back muscles were burning all night long. There was a constant bang from 9 pm to 2 am. Staff was notified during my departure. Nothing against this hotel in general but I have stayed in nicer rooms in other hotels. I will not be returning to the Renaissance Hotel.

Mischarged- disappointing billing
Disappointing booking and billing- paid full price on hotels.com, then charged additional $180 - I’ll have to call to fix this mistake- I should have known- person at check in tried to charge me full price When I arrived, tho it was paid in full- I had to correct her then. I hate wasting time on the phone to follow up on someone else’s mistake

Not hot water
Unfortunately when I got there a I had to cancel because their boiler broke down and they had no hot water and had not be able to get it back working since 8am. This is usually my go to hotel when in that area so I was very disappointed. They did give me a full refund.
