Great getaway
This house was perfectly stocked and ready to go. Covered parking was nice. Everything worked fine and the property owner was very polite and helpful upon check-in. Great place for family getaway to the Black Hills and Bad Lands.

Property owner rhat cares!
We recently stayed at LaRay's property. It was great for what we needed and the event we were in town for. Location worked really well. Easy access to everything we needed. LaRay was great! She checked with us frequently to ensure all our needs were met. She was very accommodating! The property met our needs really well!

Derby vacation

House was clean and comfortable
My son and I ate out except for morning yogurt and cereal... evening snacks. A few minor glitches with garage door and front/back door locks but LaRay was immediately responsive via text and in person. House itself is a bit dark (decor, paint, etc....as a retired general contractor married to an interior designer I notice details). That said, everything worked and since we spent most of our time sightseeing it served us very well. In hindsight I should have asked LaRay about points of interest. I think we may have missed a few. If I return to S. Dakota I would definitely stay there.

Comforts of home
Located in an older but clean & quiet neighborhood, very convenient to restaurants, shopping, and major highways. LaRay was a great host and checked in via text several times to be sure we felt at home. She provided things like coffee & condiments, spices, etc., so we were pretty well set from the time we arrived. We had a great stay, and would recommend this place for anyone who is looking for that 'at home' feel at a reasonable price!

A Brothers with spouses get-away
Really clean, spacious, all the amenities. Only abiut 30 miles to Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Custer, Deadwood. Within 10 minutes to downtown Main Street. Host LaRay checked in daily to make sure everything was good and if we needed anything.

Summer Family Vacation
We had a great stay at this place! We looked forward to coming back at the end of each night, especially our 4 kids who took full advantage of the pool table and hot tub! It was very clean and well stocked. I especially appreciated that all 3 bedrooms had a king size bed and there were 3 full bathrooms as well. It was also very nice to be able to park our large vehicle in her roomy garage. LaRay was very accommodating and great to work with and if we had any questions she was quick to respond. I only gave the online description 4 out of 5 stars because the online pictures don’t do it any justice, it was much nicer than we were expecting! Very nice place to stay!

Nice place for a long stay
We enjoyed our stay and the property manager was very friendly and helpful. I loved the three bathrooms, parking in the garage and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals. It is also the perfect central location for all the attractions of the area, an one hour or less drive to all the places we wanted to visit.

Centrally Located With a Lot of Amenities!
This property is centrally located in Rapid City and had a lot of amenities. It worked out great for us. There was even an oversized garage to park our oversized truck! The property owner was very responsive to our needs! Great option if you’re in the area!

Vacation in the Black Hills in South Dakota
The property was very nice. It had all the amenities need for a multiple night stay. The kitchen was beautiful and had everything we needed for any cooking you might want to do. The owner was very responsive from check in and throughout our stay. She texted us multiple times to ask if we needed anything. Highly recommended

Central location to everything!!!
This place was pretty sweet, kids loved the ping pong table ,hot tub, an pool table the house was very clean la-ray the owner was so nice, helpful with directions an must see attractions had everything we need would definitely recommend this property!!!

More Than Expected
We didn't need a thing except groceries. House was fully stocked, and the owner offered to restock anything we needed. I loved parking in the garage, the security available, the amenities were awesome. The bed was comfortable. Extremely happy.

Rapid City Experience

Everything is perfect!
The location is convenient to almost all attractions. We visited Mount Rushmore, Custer state park, Badlands NP, Wind Cave NP and the Jewelry Cave NM. The house is very clean and has everything we need. The bed is so soft and comfortable, the place is super quiet, everyone in my family slept well. The owner is extremely friendly. My kids love playing pool at night. We had a great time!

Incredible place
We had such a great time. Everything you want. Awesome hot tub, very nice pool table and dart boards. Beautiful home with all the comforts of home. Centrally located with everything you need
Born and raised in Rapid City, SD, my family and I returned to visit our mother. This rental was perfect for our needs. Plenty of room with everything you need. If you forgot something at home, chances are the rental has it! The owner is very friendly and accommodating and overall, our stay was great!!

Very Homey
This place worked great for our family of six. Very cozy with large, comfortable beds. The kids had fun with the ping pong table, pool table, and hot tub. LaRay was super helpful and accommodating. She even helped us out when we had car trouble! Would definitely stay here again!

Not what we expected
We were expecting a private home instead of a shared duplex. The home is still under renovation with an unfinished wall in the living room. The fireplace is boarded up. It would have nice to have some normal chairs to sit in instead of the bar stools. Also, it’s difficult to take a shower in the dark with battery operated lights too high for the average person to reach.

I feel so bewildered why you wouldn’t take a minute and read description of my place on website. It’s there so you understand what you are booking and so you are more likely to be satisfied. You acted like everything was fine and then blind sighted me with a low review. It clearly states twice that my place is a duplex and that my son and I live in the basement. Also stated is my home improvements aren’t done. I had a total hip replacement last year which set me back financially and as soon as I do a few, I think of more :) As soon as I decide if I want to paint or panel that new short wall, I will do so. I feel flabbergasted that made your stay unpleasant or affected it negatively. While you stayed, there was unusually warm weather so central air was on, it certainly was not fireplace weather. The fireplace is not “boarded” up, I just took out the wood burning stove and am waiting for fireplace guy to come check it, take down the square piece and make sure the fireplace works properly. The switch for shower lights is waist high in bathroom, but you could’ve used master bath shower or asked me. You had my phone number. Last but not least, my pictures of chairs for tables are accurate. I feel sad you could not find 1 positive thing to say about your stay. I’m sorry you were so disappointed. I can’t address anything when you wait to bring it up until after you’ve left.

We came for my daughters wedding, and wanted a more personal space than a hotel room. What we got was so much more! LaRay (the owner) made our stay warm and inviting. The house was very clean, and well stocked. She went up and beyond to make sure that we had everything we could ever need. We will most definitely be back!😊

Excellent Little Place
We were all there for a baseball tournament and wanted to stay at a nice place that we could just relax and not have to deal with anything after the games. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. LaRay was an excellent host and made sure we had everything we needed.
