Room was very hot and had no control over air conditioning. The other issue were about lack of service do to COVID-19 which are understandable.

The hotel was clean and the restaurant was great. It was very difficult to control the temperature in the room. The walls were not sound proof. In the room next to mine, I could hear what people were watching on tv, their conversation on the telephone and their conversation between them.

Rooms are clean and the service is good. However, the hotel could use a face-lift. We've been staying there since for years, and nothing has been upgraded. Also, the area outside is very dirty, with cigarette butts and litter. The entryway to the hotel should be cleaner.

Property definitely feels dated. Shower head is small and water pressure wasn’t great. Bed was very comfortable, and there’s lots of parking.

Love this hotel! We did miss having a recycle bin in the room. Was super clean and quiet. This is where we always stay when coming to Red Deer.

The place is nice and the rooms r nice as well ..I dont like there is no vendor's for munchies.

Red Deer in February . . .
Good value for what we paid ($98/n) with advance booking. Bathroom rather basic (antique shower plumbing) and mattress and pillows too soft for my taste. Excellent lunch in the dining room, and an enjoyable - if limited - swim in the small pool on a sunny day!

For the price we paid it was a real bargain. Large well appointed room, great restaurant with reasonable prices and very near to Red Deer College. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Red Deer.

Evening front desk staff were great. Bad review due to finding the room had not been cleaned/checked properly - found an empty cigarette pack in the room with hard drugs inside. If a kid had found this it could have been fatal... When reported in the morning to front desk, there was a half-hearted apology.

I stayed only one short night here so I can't say much, however my room was quite clean and comfortable and in excellent condition, if not quite new. The lobby was cozy/small with only one desk staffer on site, but check in and check out was efficient and trouble-free. The public areas seemed cosy and very well maintained. Would be happy to stay here again.

The staff are more than willing to help me, move or take anything anywhere, as I was on a pair of crutches and very limited on what I could carry and what I can do. There is always a staff member there with a big smile offering to help at all times. I’d recommend this hotel to anybody very friendly very cooperative very accommodating

I have stayed ere for years. Hotel is convenient and reliable. however I have never had worse service in the lounge than on this trip. General attitude was noticeably poor and the resulting service was the same.

Beds are cofy.good size swimming pool. No water slide. Nicer for couples. Has small hot tub. Restaurant has nice buffets. There's a lounge good steak sandwich special. Older hotel but elegant lobby with beautiful chandelier. Staff is friendly. I have stayed here many times and will continue to do so. Their rates are also very reasonable
