Quaint Getaway
Host was very responsive to all communications. Property was clean and ready. Nicely appointed and great location. Seemed to only be about 10 minutes to everything we wanted to do. We really enjoyed the quiet area away from the hustle and bustle. Would stay again!!!

Relaxing and Quiet
We enjoyed our stay in this cozy and quiet place while we were in the area for an archery tournament. Perfect spot that was close to everything, yet felt away from it all. Very clean and had everything we needed. Debbie was so very accommodating. If we are in the area again, we will definitely book here again. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay.

Peace and Quiet
If you are looking for a place to chill, this is it. Close to everything but next to nothing. Clean, cared for, and well appointed. You simply cannot go wrong. The rental is accessed by an interior set of stairs. Keep that in mind should that present an issue for you.

Debbie was great to work with! You could eat off the floors it was so clean! Super close to Redding so market shopping and restaurants within a 10 min drive. Would stay here again!

Quiet and Safe Location
Relocating from California to Washington, can't find a safer place to stay and park my fully loaded rental van overnight. The house is nicely decorated and I love the view from the deck and the kitchen window. What a lovely place!

Fantastic place to stay. Larry and Deborah were super nice and helpful. We went to the local grocery store Winco and cooked every night. Having a grill on the balcony and a beautiful view with a glass of wine was so relaxing. Absolutely luxurious lodging. Want to return.

Country Charm
Loves the easy of our stay at this property. Close enough to Redding to dine out but also close to Lassen National Park. Will stay again the next time we are in the area.

Peaceful stop on college road trip
Property owner was so helpful re: questions I had prior to booking. This was a peaceful setting, safe out of way location to keep a car full of college gear safe over night. Kitchen allowed for making food rather than more freeway food. Interior was clean, shower good pressure. Exactly what you’d expect from pictures and a ranch/country house.

Peaceful & Relaxing Retreat
Debbie and Larry had plenty of recommendations for us when we arrived. The place was clean and spacious, and most importantly was able to be kept cool in the hot summer sun. We enjoyed sunsets on the balcony, and we were able to get up early have something coffee and go out and explore before it got too hot! Would come again!

Gorgeous and comfortable
Loved our stay in this beautiful house. It has everything you could ask for, loaded kitchen with a bottle of wine , comfortable luxurious bedding, huge shower with 2 shower heads!! We kayaked at Whiskeytown Lake and visited Lassen Volcanic National Park. Deborah had wonderful suggestions and was in touch to welcome us and only a text away if we needed anything. Very lovely!!

Hidden Gem
Our family had a relaxing stay at this property! It is secluded, yet not far from Redding and nearby lakes and attractions. Our dogs loved it too! Our family already said we will be booking it again!!

Private lovely property
The unit is lovely and located on beautiful private country acreage, yet close to town. Very spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again.

Beyond Expectations
My search for vacation rentals in the Redding area has ended. This property is the only place we will be reserving from now on! Although it is located in a very serene & beautiful location, seemingly far away from the city, it is a super convenient, centrally located place, easy to get to the hwy, for any of your daily excursions in the area. The large parking area was perfect for our boat and trailer. The view of Mount Lassen from the patio is gorgeous, especially when it is covered in snow. Each time you enter your home away from home, you are greeted with the most wonderful smells. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need, even a spice rack full of spices. Plenty of coffee, filters & sugar available, with creamer and condiments in the fringe. I had the best nights sleep ever on vacation, as the bed and sheets were beyond comfortable. Thank you, Debbie! You are definitely a premier host!

Great four day weekend with my wife
Great place to stay with everything we needed. Nice and clean, big bed, great balcony and a bonus BBQ grill. Would definitely stay there again. Hosts were friendly and communication was quick and very helpful.

Total nightmare
The owners were rude and dishonest. They wouldn't refund our money, even though we had to drive back home, in the middle of the night, because their home was as hot as a furnace and the heater wouldn't shut off. Avoid at all costs!

Quiet Country Getaway
The location of this house has a country feel and the living quarters was beyond our expectations. Very comfortable and the decorating has such charm and appeal. We had everything we needed and Debbie was more than accommodating. Even made sure we were able to watch the Super Bowl which we really appreciated. Thanks Debbie we will definitely return if we visit Redding again.

Awesome place for a retreat
The property was awesome. Off the grid but close enough to the necessities. The amenities were above and beyond. Great bed, great kitchen, great bathroom. Awesome cooling/heating system. The owner was accessible but invisible all at the same time. Area is so beautiful and peaceful. Will be back again!

Perfect Quick Get Away
My husband and I had tickets for a concert at the Cascade Theater for the night of 12/10 and booked an overnight stay. Everything prior to checking in went very smooth, Debbie was very responsive to our questions. She had an early check out & was able to allow an early check in. She also messaged me a few good options for dinner close enough to walk. Kobe was a lot of fun, good food and customer service. The place was amazing, clean, nicely decorated, quality linens and even a bottle of wine! The bed, actually all the furniture, was very comfortable. I wish we’d had more time. Definitely look through the binder! Lots of fun things to do, places to eat, it has pretty much everything! We’ll be back.

Nice little place
This little house was clean and very nice. Owner was friendly and got us all the info we needed. Was nice to have a bbq that we used one night. Only a few minutes from Redding. We enjoyed our short stay.

Overnight stay
The property was clean and nicely decorated. The bed and bed linens were extremely soft and comfy!! The owners were very accommodating and even left a bottle of California wine on the counter for us to drink. Overall it was a nice place to stay. My only critique is that the kitchen wasn't stocked well with basic cookware if you plan on doing food preparation on the property. And, while they had coffee and a coffee maker they had no coffee filters. Also, keep in mind it is on the second floor and if you have luggage / coolers, be prepared to lug them up a fairly steep set of stairs. And, If you have a dog you have to go up and down that same set of stairs to go outside. We were able to walk down the gravel road and introduce our dog to a few goats and lamas:-)

Great location. Great property
I stayed here for a week with my two dogs. The place is very dog friendly. It even came with a large dog crate that was perfect for my 7 month old lab. There are dogs that bark often, so may not be appropriate for dogs with reactivity issues. But my two dogs loved everything about the place. It’s perfectly located near down town and close to a lot of hiking trails and swimming spots. We will be back again.

Country setting convenient to Redding
So elegant and roomy. Every window view is lovely with trees and grass. And very quiet. The owners are there attached to the upstairs rental but we never heard or felt their presence. Beautifully decorated without clutter. The open design could be a disadvantage if you have different sleeping schedule from your partner. Well done. We would go back if we ever needed to stay in Redding!

Thank you for your review of our bnb I just wanted to clarify in this review we are not attached at all {living} were the bnb is you are there all by yourself we are on 15 ackers and live next door with a different driveway, so if you ever need us we are reachable, just a text or a call, so you can have the beauty of your own privacy,

The Move
This property was really special and a great rest stop on our move from Portland, OR to the Bay Area. We had no problem parking our U-haul truck and other vehicle in the large round-a-bout parking area. It was also very quiet and secure with a fenced in yard that our dog enjoyed exploring. The living space was very large and clean. We got a great nights sleep in the comfortable bed and were on our way to the Bay with no problems in the morning.

Adorable and fun!
We loved staying here. Debbie and Larry are great. We saw an awesome full moon rise from the deck that was incredible. The open bedroom worked out perfectly for us. We had two dogs, who were very welcome, and that is very much appreciated.

Peaceful Oasis
This was exactly what we needed. A cozy and clean place with gorgeous country views but close to town. Debbie’s home was private, quiet, peaceful and welcoming. There were so many nice touches left for us to feel like we were at home. We will definitely come back!
