Me gustó que tienen servicio de recepción 24/7 y son muy amables, las habitaciones limpias y no son 40 camas en un solo cuarto, hay habitaciones con varias camas pero no compartes con tantas personas, lo que es bueno:) y los baños también están muy limpios

Es increíble como uno paga para quedarse ene un hostal así , es el peor hostal que he visitado , los banos sucios , los papeles en el piso , el mal olor No se lo recomendaría a nadie ! Ahhh y no cambian las frisas de la cama solo las vuelven a organizar y listo .separe una cama baja y nunca pude dormir en la cama baja por que siempre que llegaba en l noche habían personas durmiendo en ellas . Luego la acomodaban en las mañanas y otra nueva persona dormía ahí , es increíble que en una ciudad tan prestigiosa y hermosa como islandia todavía hayan cochineros así . Debería al menos remodelarlos . El trato fatal le dije tres veces el problema de la cama y me trataban de mentirosa, incluso hasta el empleado del bar que habla español es un grosero comenzó a gritarle delante de todos . Vuelvo y repito NO LE RECOMIENDO A NADIE QUEDARSE EN ESA Pudrición, cuando iba a utilizar el baño tenía que salir fuera del hotel por que los del hotel no hay quien entre. Y no es un mal review, solo digo la verdad ! Ojalá y cambie por que la gente paga por eso y Merece un mejor servicio.

El hostel estaba limpio en general y todas las instalaciones funcionaban. Se notaba que los muebles son un poco viejitos ya, pero igualmente estaban bien. Las taquillas de mi habitación no cerraban del todo. La ubicación era muy buena, a apenas 3 minutos del centro. Muy recomendable.

Party hostel, otherwise good
It's a good hostel but be aware that there is party going on downstairs at the bar pretty much every day. The rooms have good insulation as long as your window doesn't show down to the patio. This was the case for me so in my single room that I paid much money for to be alone and have my peace, the closets where vibrating from the bass and the music was so loud there was no sleeping. This stopped at 11pm but this is the Covid restriction right now. If they go for longer normally, there is no thought of sleep during that time. Besides that it's a good hostel but either ask for a room away from the party area or don't plan on sleeping while there's stuff happening at the bar.

There were a lot of people, probably the largest one I've ever encountered. Over 200 beds. I'm not quite a fan of it since I didn't find it homely. The bedsheets were itchy. The bedroom was too hot and humid, but later in the night, it became freezing cold. It's also in downtown, so driving may not be an issue, but if you are planning to drive the Ring Road in Iceland which is highly recommended, parking is very limited here

I booked an eight bed room, and for some reason I was put in a 14 bed room with no explanation. I should have been offered a discount for the room difference, but I was not. I was extremely disappointed.

* Some staff were unhelpful. No tour of the property and waiting around to get serviced at the bar. * Rooms and showers were clean. * Specifically booked mixed dorms and they weren’t mixed. * Property was always warm. * Nice food. Decent but more effort is needed. Most likely won’t stay there again on my next visit.

My stay here was pretty good. Facilities were clean and everything seemed organized. I was able to check in early, which I really appreciated after a long flight and bad jet lag. The bus will drop you off and pick right in front of the hostel, which is a perk compared to other places downtown. The staff at the desk when I checked out gave me helpful directions about the bus picking me up. Accessibility warning: There are four flights of stairs and no elevator. No one will help you carry your luggage up the stairs. The snow was not cleared on the front path leading to the door. The construction in the area is not close to done so expect it to continue for many months.
