Breezy

This little cottage was great. Well equipped (but the toaster is struggling a bit). Stunning views, great outside shower, a double hammock and lots of kayaks for a morning paddle with the loons. Life at Lake Opinicon at its finest.

Another wonderful stay at Breezy Cottage

As always, we appreciated the many lovely details about this cottage. We loved that the bunkbed has been replaced with twins- the room feels bigger- and are grateful for all the kitchen items and dishes. The deck is the very best. Thank you to Kim for another great week in this special place.

Fantastic and Relaxing

Clean, well kept cottages were perfect for our annual family reunion! Hosts were helpful and all amenities were as promised. Well equipped kitchens were perfect to prepare meals for our crowd and bonfires were wonderfully relaxing at the end of a fun filled day!

Boys weekend away

Had a great time at this cottage. Clean, has a dock, internet, and the hosts were great. Storm came thru and took out the power. Host contacted use ahead of time with power updates. Thanks guys

Wonderful spot, super comfortable

We loved staying in Breezy Cottage- lovely cottage that was beautifully updated with all the amenities you would want. While we barely used the A/C during our visit, it’s nice to know it’s an option. The main room was comfortable and bright, with a well stocked kitchen for all our meals. The owners have done an amazing job choosing decor and furnishings for these airy, summery cottages. Highly recommend!

Diamond in the ruff

Fully equipped cottage for the family, absolutely beautiful inside and out. Our family of three and our dog felt completely at home, like it was a family cottage. You can build a tradition with this property, everything is there for you to enjoy. Highly recommend contacting Bill and Kim for you next getaway!

Another fantastic stay at Sun on the Brow

We just returned from our second year in a row at Sun on the Brow cottages. The stay was fantastic. Kim & Bill have thought so well about the needs and experience of their guests. Our cottage was clean, equipped, and comfortable. We loved kayaking and paddle boarding. Thanks for a great stay!

Beautiful place, excellent long weekend

Sun on the Brow is a gorgeous and completely relaxing place. Breezy Cottage was equipped with everything we needed, and was really comfortable- inside and out. It was such a pleasure to even have our own private dock to have morning coffee on - perfect! It was so much fun to have a canoe and kayaks at our disposal any time we wanted to go for a paddle, and catch a fish or find a spot on one of the islands to land and go for a swim. We thoroughly enjoyed it - thanks Kim and Bill!!! Cathy & Gerry & Charlie

Beautiful property, lovely hosts, wonderful thoughtful touches

What a beautiful lakeside cottage. Great view on a beautiful lake. The cottage had everything we needed, with many wonderful thoughtful touches to make our weekend away from the city perfect. Loved all the water sport options, and the boathouse was great for the cloudy day and to add some fun to parts of the day. We had a wonderful time with many great campfire memories! Kim and Bill are lovely hosts, thank you!!

Fantastic

We do not know where to start with being able to describe how much we enjoyed our stay at Sun on the Brow (Breezy). The owners were amazing. They have put their heart and soul into making this property top-notch. Lake Opinicon is part of the Rideau Canal but, here, you get to enjoy nature, quiet, and calm. All kinds of exploring to be done. The lake, jogging, or a stroll through Chaffey’s Locks area. We joked that we were contemplating a 2 -3 star for the weather as we had a lot of rain during our stay. Kim and Bill explained they were not able to add Mother Nature to the facility but do have an amazing huge boathouse for just the occasion. Pool table, foozle ball, air hockey and a plethora of board games and books with all the relaxing areas needed. We used this area a lot, including the expanded dining room table with extra kids for a day. We came with our 20’ ski boat and were able to tie it up to our own use dock. Evenings were great for campfires with the provided s’more kit! The kitchen was very well stocked with brand new everything. Appliances, dishes, pots, and pans were all there. Everything is very clean and well thought out. We will be back. Wonderful place and time.

Another amazing stay!

Sun on the Brow is our place to check out of the world. Enjoy the quiet and spend time as a family. Kim and Bill are fabulous hosts and we would recommend any of their cottages on the property! Breezy days, sunsets and blue skies all with a grand view :). Thanks again!! See you next year

Paddling paradise!

My family and I had a lovely and relaxing stay at Breezy Cottage. The hosts were welcoming and available - but never intrusive. We loved using the BBQ and amazing deck, all the watercraft. And the kids made use of the welcome Smores kit. Our dog loved the big outdoor space, too! And one special experience for me was going through Chaffey's Lock with Captain Bill- such a treat!

Best Cottage Week Ever!!

Wow. Perfect cottage for a perfect week. Kim and Bill went all out to have Breezy cottage ready for us. 7 nights and 8 days of water sports, fires, day trips, card games, etc. It’s ideally located so that we went to Westport and Perth on day trips. The bass fishing was amazing every day and the wildlife on the lake was memorable. We will definitely go again.

Looking forward to returning!

It's a lovely dog friendly environment, our pooch was in heaven having buddies to play with and able to go swimming. The Breezy was recently renovated with a well stocked kitchen. Beautifully done and cozy! We loved having a brand new deck in the shade to take in the view and have our meals. Kim and Bill are amazing hosts 👏

Fantastic Family Vacation

Our family really enjoyed our time at Sun On The Brow - Breezy cottage. The property is beautiful with incredible views and the sounds of nature. There is plenty to keep the entire family busy and relaxed rain or shine. Just as amazing as the cottage is Kim and Bill, I can't say enough good things about them they really go above and beyond to ensure your time is perfect. The cottage was very well equipped and made our stay feel like home away from home from the moment we arrived. Their passion for the entire property really shows and is very much appreciated. Thank you Kim and Bill for making our family vacation one to remember, we will definitely be looking to return !
