The property is located in a secluded location with short drive from local amenities. We really liked the surroundings and it was easy to check-in. Would definitely stay at the place again and recommend to anyone looking for something different other than a typical stay at a hotel.

Great stay!
A lovely stay at Petherton Cottage. It was immaculate and a perfect size for a small family. Great location with lots of things to do nearby!

Good place to stay
Love the set up of the room and the breakfast hampers are genius no need to have to be upat a certain time. Great concept. Mattresses could probably do with updating as not the comfiest and certainly done its service to varuous weights and shapes.

One night stay
It was a one night stay, we received instructions the day before on how to gain entry to the property via a keysafe, The room was very clean and tidy and had a small kitchenette that came in very handy, We had a lovely continental breakfast delivered warm to us in the morning, We had a really nice time

It was like a home from home. Lovely large room, very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was delicious.
Even a chocolate on the towels
A nice little kitchen area with everything you could need

Really nice stay, nice, clean room, quiet and peaceful. The shower was extremely hot and wasn’t that easy to control and the kitchen area was very small but didn’t negatively impact our stay. Would definitely book again.

Great base to explore the New Forest .
All the staff were more than helpful & accommodating . The Bed & Breakfast was conveniently positioned to explore the New Forest & the south coast ( exactly what we required for our short visit ). Facilities in the B&B were excellent , ample parking spaces & very good breakfast.

Really enjoyed our stay at petherton lodge the owners were really nice and helpful ,the room was lovely spacious and had a homely feel about it,breakfast was really nice too ,i would recommend this place to anyone you won't be disappointed.

Great place to stay
Very clean comfortable room equipped with everything we could have wanted. Great breakfast along with a great host. Will defernatly book again for our next trip to the area. Have already recommended to others.Ideal location too.

Would have preferred a proper shower as I have trouble getting into a bath. We were welcomed by the host's son and breakfast was good. If we were self-catering, which we weren't, there wasn't a sink!

Very clean and welcoming. Attractive rooms, excellent breakfast. The only slight down side is getting out onto the road at busy times. The site line to the right is a bit short and some of the commuters don't understand what 40 mph means. Trim the bushes a bit? But it is my favourite place to stay when I'm working in Ferndown

Peaceful ground floor bnb absolutely ideal.
Comfy and huge bed,lovely light decor kitchenette facilities were great to store baby milk etc. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and cooked and presented beautifully. Cannot fault the place ! We really enjoyed it! Would definitely return. The hosts were lovely people too. Thank you!

Very nice people and high quality products, excellent breakfast, comfy bed & fluffy big towels. Shower was small, with a badly fitted door & water pressure was low. The extension with the B & B rooms seemed to have a DIY / "not quite finished" feel to the build quality.
