Spacious house with great mountain views
We liked the peaceful setting and lovely mountain views. We also appreciated the well-equipped kitchen, having 2 bathrooms, and being able to use the washer and dryer.

Desert Sanctuary
Beautiful views from this lovely home. Gorgeous patio. It’s a short drive to town. Grab a few groceries in town and nestle in to this great home. Comfortable beds, good overall layout. We’ll definitely stay again!

3 bedroom rambler
Newer nicely located house. Floor plan was a little ackward. Medium quality construction. needed some TLC on the matenence, Drain in main bath backed up and had to clean hair out with wire, several of the lights had bulbs that were out. Just little things that would improve the experience.

Very quiet, the water could've been hotter, hard to get a nice steamy bath. Beds were very comfortable with good linens. Spacious, good kitchen, it is in a remote area.

The view! Wow!

Golf getaway
Great courses all within 20-30 minutes. Great secluded location. Clean, with fantastic views. We were looking for a quiet location with spectacular views. This fit the bill for us perfectly.

Beautiful Views - Comfortable Stay
The sunsets from the backyard are like nothing we had ever seen before, absolutely breathtaking. Star gazing was also fantastic. The house is quite. The kitchen is nice. The beds are extremely comfortable. The TV entertainment and wi-fi were easy to use. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and definitely will stay here again if we are ever back in the area.

Everything you could want
The property was very nice and the location, while somewhat remote, was great for being outside and enjoying the views. This accommodation worked out just fine for us while making a covid-19 visit to our friends in Green Valley and walking along the Anza Trail. Quite close to the best place to eat, Wisdom's and Wisdom's Dos. However, there was a fair amount of food left in the cupboards and fridge, the lights were not bright and while basically clean it seemed the place had not been thoroughly washed down for a while. The owner was very responsive and very helpful and responded to inquiries rapidly. We felt safe and comfortable and would not hesitate to return should the need/desire arise.

Quiet and remote
We really enjoyed the quiet location. There was also easy access to hiking and biking that was very enjoyable. The property is fairly remote, but that was exactly what we were looking for.

Great place in the desert
We rented this property over the Christmas holidays for a family vacation. It's in a great location for exploring the surrounding landscape and communities, hiking, and doing many outdoor activities. The house is nothing fancy but it has everything you need, is spacious, and is surrounded by desert with amazing views, sunsets, wildlife (ie. resident roadrunner who sleeps in the carport at night), and great walking right out the front door. It's very peaceful. Tim was an incredibly kind and accommodating host and easy to communicate with. I would certainly stay here again!

Great outdoors
The house was more than adequate for a family of six. Children and the adults too enjoyed the outdoor trails and hiking. The patio was perfect to enjoy the great Arizona weather, the mountains, the wildlife and the tranquility.

Beautiful location, nice comfortable home!
The house is clean and comfortable and has everything needed for a family to enjoy their stay. The property is beautiful and the views are amazing, especially the sunsets. It was fun to watch the wildlife and be visited by the local cows at dusk. great for stargazing. Very quiet and private. Close to Tubac with great shopping and restaurants.

Rio Rico Getaway
This is a charming property in the Southern Arizona area of Rio Rico! The house is spacious and nicely appointed. We didn't lack for anything. The property is in a gorgeous area and the patio is spectacular. I'm an amateur astronomer, so I was especially in love with the amazing dark skies! All in all, a fantastic getaway!

God's Country in Rio Rico, AZ
This rental is such a joy! The home is lovely, fully appointed, and lacks for nothing. Views of the mountain ranges from your outside patio are spectacular with Arizona unabadshedly showing off its famous and magical grandeur while taking your breath away. In addition, many birds and animals visit, as well as butterflies, roadrunners (the very same lighthearted shadow boxing champion mentioned by another reviewer, lol), and rabbits of all sizes. Perhaps the most noteworthy were two Mama cattle with their tiny babies who immediately ate every blade of grass for their supper while keeping us under constant surveillance. Thank you, Tim, for sharing your home with us. Our own move to Rio Rico is finally complete and we are slowly getting settled. However, we will always fondly remember our stay at our home away from home!

Great Stay, Great Location
Secluded, but great hilltop location. Wonderful views. Property was very clean and neat. Exactly as described. We finished a few days early, but had no way to contact property manager to let them know that we were leaving early.

We enjoyed our time at this house. Our main purpose was house hunting in the Sahuarita area.
All went well. We had a little excitement when my daughter got locked in the one bedroom. It would be nice if.the entrance was better marked. We arrived at the house In the dark each night.

this property was wonderful and just what we, a group of four birders, were looking for. Several wonderful birding hotspots close by. The house was very clean. Would definitely try to book again when we come back to the area.

A Pleasant Desert Retreat - Perfect for Our Three Week Stay
The property is exactly as advertised. It is a pleasant, comfortable house, in a quiet neighborhood, with beautiful mountain views. The sunsets were spectacular. Our purpose was to spend a calm three weeks catching up with family and friends, but it was also a working vacation for me. The excellent internet connectivity allowed me to do everything I needed to do. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen has everything you need to cook complete family meals. Tim was accessible and helpful. I made the mistake of ordering an Amazon delivery, assuming it would be delivered to the door, as it is back home. Here UPS delivered to the USPS lock box. Tim helpfully had his cousin drop the key by the house, so we could pick up our package. The location is only about three miles from the interstate, so it is very convenient to get to Nogales in about 20 minutes or Tucson in under an hour, but there is virtually no traffic that comes by the house, so it is both convenient and secluded. We’re not serious birders, but there were some treats that we really enjoyed. Road runners all over the place, including one that came every day to shadow box with his reflection in the glass door. We put out a hummingbird feeder on the patio table and had regular visitors, including a completely unexpected Gila Woodpecker who slurped the nectar with gusto. Also seen were lots of Gambel’s Quail, a pair of varied buntings and a kestrel. Jack rabbits were all over as well. So, it was perfect for us, and we hope to be able to return in the future. Clean, Scenic VRBO Property
We were very pleased with the property. The views of the Sonoran Desert and the Santa Rita Mountains were beautiful. The house was comfortable and clean, exactly as promised. The whole rental and check-in process was smooth and easy. A great place to stay!

Rio Rico Memoriable stay
It is a great place with plenty of wild life on the back patio to watch in the morning. Weather was 70-90 F and sunny the entire time. Had a great time visiting friends and entertaining at the house. Would happily go there again.

Amado Wedding
We needed a place to stay for a wedding that I woukd be Officiating in Amado. We wanted something close but reasonable. The house certainly fit both needs. We found everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the entire house clean. We would recommend!

Scenic retreat
Spectacular mountain views for morning sunrises, evening sunsets and star gazing from a great patio became the highlight of our getaway weekend! Perfect location
This property is in nice location 180 degrees vistas . Sunrise and Sunsets are beautiful . Very large home can sleep 6 easily . Decor and furnitures are dated but ok . Very centralized in southern AZ . If you look for peace and quiet this is your place .

Great Getaway
Beautiful and tranquil evenings make this home a wonderful place to stay. We stayed during the monsoon season and watching the distant clouds and storms was beautiful. Located about 15 min north of Nogales, AZ and about an hour south of Tucson, it is centrally located for many tourist sites. The owner is very accommodating and helpful. The peace and quiet, along with the proximity to I-19 and reasonable price all come together to make this home well worth a stay.
