The family suite was convenient and big enough for a couple of days. Clean and comfortable hotel. But The noise from main road and train was not the best.

I liked the layout of the room. The beds were comfortable, clean and in good condition. Hot water and water pressure was really good. We checked in late and was no problem at all. Friendly service. Finding the property was easy and although was on a main road, the noise from the traffic was not distracting. Clean and tidy around the facility. I would definately stay again.

Compared to oher motels that I have stayed in at Rockhampton this motel leaves them in the shade; staff so helpful and cleanliness first rate; I’ll be back again and will recommend the motel to others.

The room was quite small in comparison to similar motels in rocky and due to the cattle show their price was $40 dollars dearer than similar motels. TV did not work correctly and if you left the bathroom windo open to let in air any one in the carpark in the row behind the unit could see directly in . Not to good if your a woman.

Stayed with my 11-year-old son. The rooms are clean, modern and roomy with good wi-fi, nice hot shower, friendly and helpful staff.

Only problem booked room through wotiff & thought they were all standard rooms. I had just had a knee replacement & our room had a Spar Bath & there was great difficulty in lifting the bad leg. Friends stayed at the room next door & going in to them the next morning found them to just have a ordinary flat floored shower which would have been perfect

Disappointing Overnighter
This motel advertises on the Wotif site that it has wireless internet and also has wireless promitely advertised on a shingle outside. Bad enough that it was too weak to effectively work in our unit, but when I mentioned this to the manager in the morning, his only comment was "...Yeah, we have trouble with it on that side of the motel. No apology even though they obviously knew about it. The fridge in the room was noisy, but not as bad as the cleaning staff who were shouting to each other and clanging about. I'm 58 and have stayed in a lot of motels and these cleaners were by far the noisiest cleaners that I have ever experienced. (Heard!). The reception tried to charge me for the room in the morning. I had to show them the Wotif email to convince them that it had already been paid.

Twin room size ok ; large complex of rooms on site. Didn't try restaurant. Workers sitting outside in evening talking was annoying. Fair price for what was 3 star.

Room was a little small for our needs(Attending a wedding) but it was only for one night. Couldn't park near unit as parks are for average cars and there were several 4wd which overlapped their designated spot. I found bed too hard but hubby liked it, pillows were like fairy floss. Pillows are a personal thing but we didn't have room to bring our own. It was ok for one night.

Quick overnight stay.
Room was okay. Could do with a bit more of a thorough clean. Starting to get a bit dated. Design of the bathroom with toilet in our room (20) was a bit of a bad design in that the toilet is hard against the wall. Quite uncomfortable when you have to sit crooked on the seat.

Stay here every time we drive through Rocky, but this time was the first to use the restaurant. Devine! The staff are warm and friendly, rooms are large, clean and comfortable, located away from the highway with good sound insulation and thick curtains so very little road noise. Have stayed in family room, standard room & everything in-between depending on our needs at the time, but all rooms have been great! Very affordable. Have not used their pool but the food in the restaurant was so good, and will deliver to your room if you prefer!
