This place makes you feel like you’re far away up north on the lake enjoying some fishing and having a bonfire. It’s something I dream of owning someday. I’m a multiple time a year renter I just love it here!

Fun lake bungalow

The cottage was exactly as described and pictured. We were very happy with the kitchen as we were cooking Thanksgiving dinner for four. We used the grill outside (despite a blizzard) to cook the turkey. The owner was very helpful with our questions regarding using the grill. I liked the outdoor set up and it would have been fun to use the kayaks to explore as well as the hot tub - which we didn't get an opportunity to do. The house was snug and warm and comfortable for our group.

Weekend Getaway

My friends and I were looking for a comfortable place to stay for a quick weekend getaway to relax, unwind, and enjoy one another's company. This cute and clean bnb was able to check off things we wanted for our mini stay- enough rooms with comfortable beds to accomodate the 6 of us, 2 bathrooms, hot tub, fishing, space for us to play games/hang out. Drive to Detroit was not bad, less than 30mins away. The only trouble we had was that we arrived at night and it was dark making it difficult to figure out which rental it was. The host was very responsive upon booking. However, we had messaged a question prior to check out, but never received a response. Otherwise, we would consider this bnb again for another trip.

Wonderful Icy Wonder

We loved our stay here. It is a fishermans dream but even in the winter it still is magical. Walking out on the frozen lake was bone chilling to say the least but a wonderful experience. We thank the host for opening their door to our family.

We booked a five-night stay at this property in February, 2025 for my extended family. The accommodations were perfect for everyone in our party. The setting was lovely overlooking forest across the small bay. The neighborhood was very quiet. The outside temperates fell below zero during our stay but the heating system was able to keep up. This property is well ecquipped for summertime activities like fishing and kayaking-- we do plan on a return visit during warmer weather.....

Quick Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Sara's home. The house is welcoming and beautifully decorated. We could feel ourselves relaxing as soon as we walked in. The hot tub is wonderful but the view, that was the best part! It was too windy to go kayaking but would have been fun. All the little touches and amenities were appreciated. The bed was also very comfortable. Sara is a wonderful host and very responsive. We would stay again!

Amazing location and a sense of tranquility

My family and I traveled to Michigan to for my daughter's bowling competition. This home did not disappoint. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a beautiful,updated, and clean home with all the creature comforts (internet, laundry, a/c, and tv) provided. All appliances functioned and worked flawlessly. The rooms were small, but perfect if you have children. The biggest bed room accommodated my wife and I just fine. The backyard was absolutely amazing. A newer dock with ample room to fish and just unwind after a long day. The home is close to multiple bait and tackleshops. Restaurants are within 2-10 minutes away(depending what you're craving) and there is a Kroger just 10 minutes up the road. The home is about 4 miles away from I75 and 10 miles away from I275, which made it easy for us to get on the interstate and do some exploring into detroit. Lastly, the host was amazing. Sara was very responsive and her instructions were clear and concise. I wouldnt hesitate staying here again.
