Muy bien
Emmanuel nos recibio exquisitamente, con toda su amabilidad explicando cada detalle de la ciudad y recomendaciones. El alojamiento en una localizacion..para mi..la mejor. Las camas son muy comodas.

Disappointed
Well the location was not close enough to the train station as I thought. We had a 15 minute walk. The hotel was interesting . Not use to getting a key in one place and going a few doors down to enter the room. The bed was so hard it was like sleeping on concrete! Took a minute to figure out the air conditioning. I would not recommend if you are expecting a tradional American hotel ! I was a disappointed for sure and they asked me later in an email to send them copies of all our passports - not sure why that would even be needed.

Dear MaryAnnThanks for your precious feedback as it help us to improve our business. We tried to contact you several times, at least 6 messages, before your arrival but unfortunately we received your answer only once you checked in at 6pm. If we were able to talk before your arrival I could have sent you a video on how to self check in and provide you with more information on how to reach the property from Termini Station (google says 15 min).As it is a legal requirement to register all our guests we are still waiting for copy of your ID as we need to send it to the italian police for verification purposes. Alternatively, we will have no other choice but to report it.I think a better communication could have improved your experience and clarify your expectations. I hope you travelled back home safely back home and we hope to see you again at Monti49.All the best,M49 Team

My daughter and I stayed here for her Senior trip. We loved Monti. It's a great neighborhood. The accommodations are small, but small compared to America - I've stayed in smaller European places. This was perfect for us, and we really didn't explore Monti until later in our stay. We are headed back for one more day before we fly home, and we'll probably spend all of it in Monti. The neighborhood is centrally located. There are two restaurants right by the place, and if you go up or down the street, you'll find even more! Shopping too. Everyone from Monti49 was very nice as well.

This was the perfect place to build our Rome trip around! It was quiet, affordable, and cleaner than any other place we stayed during our longer trip. Staff was also incredible helpful, and the self-check-in process made it easy to get settled even after a long flight that got in quite late. There were other Monti49 guests staying on the same building floor as us, but we never had any issues with noise. Highly recommend for couples or small families!

This was a well situated property for people that like walking. We easily walked from the train station Roma Termini to the accommodation. We also walked to the Colosseum and Trevi Fountain, Loved it.

The room was clean and tidy and in a nice area. Walkable to many sights like the Colosseum, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and a quick 10-15 minute walk to Roma Termini to train to the airport and other cities. The main issue I had was with late night noise from other people in the building who came home at midnight and partied until 3am. The bed was also quite hard and some pillows were quite lumpy. If you’re a light sleeper who wakes up easily I would recommend a different place. Overall good experience!

Could not have the windows open because the garbage trucks came 2am and 5 am and picked up garbage right outside the window. Also people on the street were loud almost all night.

We had a good experience at Monti 49! The rooms were simple but comfortable and a good location to spend a few days hitting the highlights in Rome. We didn’t realize that the guesthouse didn’t have a front desk or staff on site but we were able to communicate pretty well with the staff via What’s App.

Emmanuel was a great host. Very reachable and accommodating but the ugly truth is that the unit is overdue for renovation. The room looks very different from the pictures posted on Expedia. Most pieces of furniture needs to be replaced. However, it met the purpose for our short stay (2 nights)

Très bonne prestation
Une chambre triple avec salle de bain privative. Tout le logement était très propre et fonctionnel. Une entrée autonome avec réception de clefs dans une box est vraiment pratique pour une arrivée en horaire décalé. Il y a même possibilité de déposer ses bagages avant l'heure de réception du logement. Le logement est à 10mn à pied du Colisée, du monument Victor Emmanuel II et de la fontaine de Trévi. Je le recommande sans problème.

Great base for a short break
Communication with the Monti49 team was great - there was a slight mix-up with our check-in but it was quickly resolved with a phone call. Our room (n.3) was smaller than it looked on the photos but was spotlessly clean and well kept. The location is perfect, 10 mins from the Trevi Fountain and 12-15 from the Colosseum with plenty of places to eat and drink nearby. Overall Monti49 offers excellent value for money and I wouldnt hesitate to recommend it to others.

Beautiful place! My experience with Monti49 GuestHouse was wonderful. The room was large, very clean and efficient. Marlene gets 10 out of 10 stars! The location is perfect. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted too...we walked 48 miles. The bathroom is on the small scale, as in the shower.

This is a lovely place to stay if you are lucky enough to visit Rome. Location is perfect as a central base for sight seeing. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. The cleaner left it spotless every day. We will stay here again next time we’re in Rome.
