We had a brilliant stay. The hotel is quirky and comfortable. The best thing, however, has to be the staff. Really lovely.

Interesting Victorian character and style; quality fixtures and fittings. Suggestion; more grips by bath and some stairways for elderly guests. Staff very obliging.

Quaint and querky. A maze of staircases to get to higher numbered rooms. Interesting. Website could benefit from including breakfast and parking options. Single room a tad cramped but warm and the window could be opened. Staff very accommodating and decor creative, appealed to me.

Quaint well maintained with excellent service from friendly staff. The bathroom was clean and the decor good. I f I have one criticism it is that there was insufficient light in the room.

The Pantiles is lovely. The hotel itself is fine -clean, helpful staff etc just very expensive for what it is. It’s marketed as an upmarket hotel which it isn’t really. It’s fine but there are much nicer hotels in TW for similar or cheaper prices

Staff very friendly and helpful. Very big comfortable bed. A choice of shower or bath. Incredible food Great location. Could do with a full length mirror in the bedroom Lots to see and do in the area

Lovely hotel and lovely staff. nice breakfast options available. the hotel is old and therefore a little creaky but well furnished and it's a very reasonable price and in a great location.

Great stay
Stayed there for a wedding, the hotel was really handy and service and food were excellent. The rooms were incredibly warm, but in fairness the outside temperature was 25 degrees!

Excellent stay, good value
Couldn't recommend this hotel enough - my room was very comfortable with a huge bed! The bathroom was lovely with a great shower and was spotlessly clean. The pipes do make a lot of noise and the floor is quite wonky but I thought it added to the charm! Everyone was very friendly, and check-in and check-out very speedy. No lift, so if you dont like stairs, request a room on the lower floors.

Hotel was ‘fine’ for one night. The customer service was patchy. While they were efficient, it came at the cost of being friendly or welcoming, which was severely lacking at the hotel. The staff did respond to asks for a charger and a food delivery but they seemed rushed and busy with trying to run the restaurant and then also manage guest services. The rooms were also patchy, they were clean however the fitted sheet on the bed was ripped, the bed was hard and lumpy and the bath/shower was not practical. The water temperature would fluctuate between cold and scolding hot when in use, and was actually unsafe for my child. The bathroom products were basic and cheap. Unfortunately the breakfast was also disappointing and served with chipped crockery. The food looked great however taste did not match up to it. The staff did refund two of the items, though ignored us and were dismissive after we mentioned the crockery being cracked and quality of the meal. It can be very noisy, with some of the rooms also face a very busy road which is constant all night with the window open and the walls are so thin that you can hear conversations word-for-word at midnight when other guests return to their room. We paid 180 for a double room with no breakfast included which I don’t think represented value for the area.

Absolutely awful. The room was smaller than my box room, tiny! The bathroom had no door, no breakfast available and the evening meal was a microwave meal. Absolute disgrace.

Not disgusted in Tunbridge Wells
Standing in the beautiful Pantiles the Tunbridge Wells Hotel has changed beyond recognition since I drank there when it was The Swan back in the day. Fantastic staff and whilst my single room was small it had everything I needed. 5 minute walk from the station it’s a perfect place to stay when exploring TW

Lady at reception was friendly & helpful There is no lift and room was on 5 th floor! No on site parking, offsite = £10 a night Both sink taps gave hot water ? The bottles of shampoo, shower gel etc were all empty. The actual room was ok and included coffee machine, bottle of water etc
