“My neice and I only have wonderful things to say of the house and hosts. We felt so welcome and comfortable during our stay. It was truly home away from home. Michael made us a bog fire each night in both fireplaces. We were so appreciative. He is full of knowledge about the region from sites to see, to restaurants, to pubs, etc. We highly recommend this gem of a place nestled in such beautiful and enchanting surroundings.”

“Would have been super fun but for the hurricane force storm, the pub up,the road, was wicked fun to watch rugby match. Inch beach looked really nice but again the storm was BRUTALLY nasty, we did leave one day early due to weather, totally suggest all ,hippies, and kids to check out this fun spot. “A comfortable well equipped and spacious bungalow with outstanding views of Silgo Bay. The property was very clean, during our 3 weeks stay the the property was cleaned and bedlinen changed to cater for our family who stayed with us during the holiday. However, the one of the most important element of the holiday was the welcome and great times shown by the hosts Desmond and Mary. “We had a fantastic time at Winchmore Hill House. We had 2 families and the house was the perfect size for our large group - not too small and not too big. The large group would usually congregate in the kitchen/dining area which worked great especailly w/ the easy access to the patio. We visited many towns on our daily tours but were glad that we picked Kenmare as our base as again it was the perfect Goldilocks fit small and quaint but still plenty of restaurants and shops to choose from.”

“The first night there was a party in the 3rd floor until 6 AM just below our apartment. We could not sleep at all and next day we had to leave early to the Cliffs of Moher. We finally complain in the reception the day after. They said that we should have told them the same night. Because this was an apartment, there was no telephone in the room to talk to the reception, which is in the hotel around the corner.
