Es un lugar mágico! Tiene unas vistas muy lindas ya que está en una colina y eso hace que se pueda apreciar todo el paisaje. Solo lograr ver auroras boreales desde la cabaña ya era más que espectacular! Y disfrutar la nieve también. El hotel es bastante nuevo así que está en excelentes condiciones y el personal es súper amable. El único detalle (no malo, solo es de considerar) es que si hay que caminar, viajar en carro o en taxi al centro de Saariselkä, es súper práctico igual y no está lejos, pero en época de mucho frío es de tomarlo en cuenta. Hasta el momento es el mejor lugar en el que he estado!!!

ubicación y encanto especial
No basta con ser hotel 5 estrellas, sino parecerlo!ubicación espectacular, personal amable, atento y servicial pero inexperto. Las habitaciones precarias, mobiliario Ikea (en sentido literal), calefacción poco eficaz, limpieza deficitaria, tv no funcionaba, no minibar, no servicio de habitaciones, ventanales sin cortinas capaces de tapar La Luz (puñeta para aquel que necesita oscuridad para dormir). Por 365€/noche esperas la atención/servicios/experiencia de hotel 5 estrellas y no de un hotel cualquiera“de andar por casa”, tuve la sensación al saber que el hotel llevaba abierto una semana de que tenían que abrir por fuerza, aunque no estuviera finalizado, seguro que irán mejorando porque las vistas y paseos desde lo alto de Kaaunispa no tienen precio.

Upeat maisemat ja oikein hyvä nukkua, oma sauna. Huone oli oikein viihtyisä, cupsolo-keitin ja kaikki tarvittavat kuten kuivauskaappi. Pieni miinus, että huoneemme edessä parkkipaikka. Sekä palvelu voisi olla parempaa, johon kannattaisi panostaa. Pienet yksityiskohdat merkitsevät.

Von der Ankunft bis zur Abreise war alles super organisiert. Das sympathische und freundliche Personal, die wirklich tollen Tour-Guides einschließlich der tollen Ausflüge (Schneemobil und Husky Ausflug sehr zu empfehlen) und dieses wirklich atemberaubende Hotel...einfach unvergesslich! Das Essen ist im Hotel sehr gut aber ein Spaziergang in den Ort einschließlich eines Restaurantbesuchs ist auch zu empfehlen. Wir haben jeden Tag die Polarlichter gesehen, können aber auch den Ausflug "Aurora Hunting by Car" (im Hotel buchbar) empfehlen. Denn ist der Himmel bedeckt wissen die Guides genau wo man hinfahren muss um die Polarlichter zu erblicken. Wer einen unvergesslichen Urlaub und eins seiner größten Abenteuer erleben will ist hier genau richtig!

My stay at Star Arctic Hotel was one of the best experiences I had. I stayed the glass ceiling cabin which was very cozy and very clean. The staff was very hospitable and attending, they go above and beyond to help you especially Hanna. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my family and friends.

Really positive stay and we loved the room except for a few negatives: Tv is positioned way too high up to the ceiling. We could hear the neighbors in our room in the morning. Stairs up to the bed kind of almost damgerous Lobby is disappointing, only one couch to sit by the fire

Fantastic sauna rooms
We had a great time at this hotel. Our room had a private sauna, which we used several times and really enjoyed. The room was large and comfortable. The hotel itself is located outside of town and a little confusing to get to the first time (especially as it gets dark very early). It's also a higher elevation than the area around it to try and increase Northern Lights viewing. We actually found that did not help us see the Lights, as there was often a lot of fog which blocked the lights. But it wasn't hard for us a drive a short distance for better viewing. The staff was varied. Several went out of their way to be helpful and give advice/suggestions. One or two seemed like we were bothering them when asking questions. Breakfast had a lot of options, but we found the food bland. All in all, we really enjoyed this hotel and would stay here again.

Excellent hotel overall. We had the Aurora Cabin. Rooms are extremely comfortable and well thought out. Heated floors, comfortable bed, heated windows for the night sky view. Bathroom well designed. Breakfast is included and there’s plenty to choose from : the usual toast and spreads, cereal, hot food (eggs/bacon/sausages etc), yogurt with plenty of toppings, cheeses and cold cuts, fruit and desserts. Plenty of hot drinks on the machine to choose from and the hot choc was great! Dinner at Kaunis was excellent and well worth trying. Staff extremely polite and friendly. 30 min walk to Saariselka town in the snow. I suggest renting a car. No complaints here and we are already planning our next trip.

Einfach schön
Wunderschöne Unterkunft und jeden Cent wert. Nordlichter haben wir leider nicht gesehen aber es war trotzdem sehr schön dort. Frühstück war absolut ausreichend und lecker. Personal sehr nett.

Yövyimme siskon kanssa yhden yön elokuun alussa. Sijainti erinomainen, aivan laskettelukeskuksen vieressä ja keskusta parin kilometrin päässä. Näkymä huoneesta oli alas rinteelle ja se oli upea. Mökki siisti ja kivasti sisustettu. Saunan kiuas olisi voinut olla nopeampi ja aamupalassa oli toivomista, mutt ylrisesti ottaen todella viihtyisä hotellikokemus.
