LOG HOUSE + LAKEFRONT = ALEGRÍA DE VERANO !!

Hermosa y acogedora casa de troncos a orillas del lago de 1700 pies cuadrados en 3 pisos (uno un espacio tipo loft con cama king más 2 camas individuales y baño privado completo), con capacidad para 8 personas con 2 habitaciones en la planta baja (1 cama Queen con chimenea y otra habitación con 2 Camas gemelas), sala de estar y comedor con chimenea de leña, cocina de chef, 2 baños amplios, uno con ducha y lavadero y otro con bañera de hidromasaje, así como un solárium en la planta principal con vistas tranquilas al bosque. Se incluyen sábanas y toallas, así como una cocina completamente equipada con estufa de gas. Como somos una familia, podemos proporcionar una cuna con un colchón firme y ropa de cama suave y suave, una trona, asientos elevados y un orinal: ¡solo debe informarnos al hacer la reserva! El amplio espacio que rodea la casa invita a jugar y 2 televisores (uno en el piso principal y el otro ubicado en el dormitorio Queen con chimenea) ofrecen televisión vía satélite. WiFi también en el sitio.

El chalet se encuentra a 5 minutos del pueblo de St. Hippolyte (conveniente para ir de compras), a 15 minutos del municipio de St. Sauveur (Outlet Shopping, Great Restaurants, Water Slide Park, Spas, ect. Ect.), A 40 minutos de Laval (el centro comercial Carrefour Laval es posiblemente una de las MEJORES compras en Quebec) y a 1 hora del centro de Montreal, mundialmente famoso por ¡Sus numerosos festivales de verano!

La orilla del lago está a 300 pies del Chalet y se puede acceder a nuestro lago (Lac Fournelle) por las escaleras que conducen a la costa y un muelle, con escalera, que conduce al agua (5 a 6 pies de profundidad pero mucho más lejos). Los huéspedes pueden acceder a una canoa, un barco de pesca y un pedaleo desde el muelle. El lago es prístino (no hay lanchas motoras) y está rodeado de hermosos cedros y arces con nuestra propiedad que tiene más de 425 pies de costa, ¡perfecto para explorar!

El chalet fue completamente renovado en 2016, incluidos todos los colchones nuevos.

Séjour Magique

Prestation de très grande qualité qui mérite largement le titre d’exceptionnel. Nous avons passé un séjour merveilleux en famille. le chalet est magnifique, d’une propreté immaculée, joliment décoré et très confortable. Ce n’est pas une simple location, on ressent tout l’amour que les propriétaires on mis dedans et leur volonté d’offrir aux locataires une expérience inoubliable. le lac est calme et cristallin et assez chaud pour la baignade, il est très peu fréquenté notamment en semaine où nous avions l’avions pour nous . Quel Bonheur ! Nous aimerions revenir certainement l’année prochaine ! Grand Merci à Caterina et Ferdinand des hôtes d’exception .

Immaculate and relaxing stay

This chalet is a beautiful, well equipped and immaculately maintained family property with many personal touches that distinguish it from commercial chalets. Although quiet and private, the property was a short drive to many amenities, making the location very convenient. We spent many hours in the lovely sunroom, enjoying the peace and some good books. We loved this chalet in summer and can imagine in the winter that this property would be equally incredible. The owner was very accessible, warm and welcoming. It was a joy to stay here.

An absolutely wonderful cottage and stay

We had an excellent experience all around. Caterina and Ferdinand are superb hosts. They pay attention to details in the cottage. Every amenity that we needed was there and the cottage is extremely clean, comfortable and true to the pictures. A truly beautiful cottage and actually much bigger than it looks. There were no unwanted surprises and Caterina and Ferdinand were extremely responsive and helpful hosts. We highly recommend staying here…you won’t be disappointed!

Beautiful cabin!

Beautiful cabin on lots of land - very private… we loved it! The lake doesn’t allow motorized boats, so it was very quiet. Great swimming and fishing and the available watercraft were all clean and in fantastic condition. The hosts are wonderful! We had a great time and are very happy we found this place!

Magnifique chalet parfaitement équipé!

Merci à Caterina et Ferdinand pour ce séjour merveilleux. Nous louons souvent des maisons lors de nos vacances (Amérique, Europe, Asie) et c'était certainement une des mieux équipées en terme de qualité (serviettes, savon, cuisine, literie,...). Je recommande sans hésiter. Seuls petits points à considérer selon vos besoins, la télévision principale est ancienne et n'avons pas pu connecter nos appareils électroniques. Aussi l'accès au lac se fait par un sentier dans le bois donc peut être difficile pour personne avec mobilité réduite ou pour surveiller des enfants. Tout le reste est super!

Chalet luxueux, récemment rénové

Très beau chalet et très très propre. Le seul côté négatif à été une infestation de fourmis volantes à l'intérieur. Aussi, il y avait beaucoup de nourritures dans les armoires de cuisine, ce qui nous a obligé à ne pas ranger notre nourritures sans les armoires. Même de la nourriture dans le frigidaire. Le bord de l'eau demande une petite marche d'environ 100 mètre dans un sentier dans le bois.. Le bord de l'eau n'est pas bien organisé pour recevoir plusieurs personnes.

Incredible cozy cottage experience!

Where to begin! Firstly, Caterina, and her spouse Ferdinand, were absolutely lovely hosts! Caterina was so helpful in answering our questions, and we were lucky to meet the charismatic Ferdinand who greeted us on arrival. Secondly, the chalet is pristine and super well maintained. We were in lack of nothing - the kitchen was fully stocked, we had access to towels and beach towels, bathroom extras, and a charcoal grill. Finally, the place itself has the atmosphere of an old swiss home, with the addition of a peaceful solarium, and access to the lake. We took advantage of the pedal boat and kayaks! Altogether, would very much recommend! Thank you Caterina and Ferdinand!

Great location, super clean, equipped with everything you need and then some. If you are looking for a quiet retreat, this is the place to go. You truly feel like you are away from it all even though Montreal is but 1 hour away. We will go back!

Charming cottage - second stay.

This was our second stay at this charming cottage. Our fist stay was a winter stay and we loved it! We had to come back to see the wonder of the autumn foliage. The cottage feels magical to us. The layout and décor make it feel so cozy and warm. Perfect for 2 families to bond and spend quality time. The layout allows you seek privacy if needed. It is super clean and has everything you need. We're already planning our 3rd trip to this charming cottage. Catherine and Ferdinand the owners are wonderful. Always available and very friendly.

Fall getaway

Chalet was in beautiful setting and very clean with lots of supplies. Wonderful amenities. Disappointed there was not actual lake view from house. Waterfront was also bit disappointing. Dock small for 6 people and a walk through woods to get there.

Beautiful property

We stayed at this property for the weekend. The house and land are impeccably maintained. Very clean and organized. Host provided a lot of useful information, location of nearest grocery store, hiking trails, etc. Solarium was absolutely beautiful, surrounded by colourful trees in the autumn.

From the moment we walked in the cottage we felt right at home. The location was ideal, just an hour’s drive from Montreal. We were 5 adults and a toddler. The space, furnishings, decor and small details were ideal and tasteful. Our hosts were very welcoming. They provided detailed information about the place and the area. Very lovely cottage. A gem and a home away from home.

Short August Getaway

We stayed for 4 nights in late September. Our very friendly host Caterina met us for a quick introduction and tour of the chalet and property. The chalet was immaculately clean. Very beautiful and cozy interior. A wonderful wood fireplace in the main area was well used. The kitchen was modern and well stocked. Fresh towels and L'Occitane soap in the washrooms. Beds were firm but comfortable. The chalet is located on a large secluded property and includes a firepit area and small charcoal grill. Although the property is waterfront, there is a bit of a hike from the chalet to the waterfront. Canoe and kayaks included. The lake is shallow but swimmable if you like. We we very impressed how well maintained and clean the chalet was. For a close COVID-safe restaurant with a high-end menu, check out Pub Barils & Ardoises in nearby Prevost and ask to sit in the terrasse. Overall, highly recommended for a nice 4 seasons getaway.

Parfait!

Nous (2 adultes, 3 jeunes adultes de 21 ans) avons adoré notre séjour. Nous nous sommes re-familiarisés avec un BBQ à briquettes! Nous y retournerons certainement. Superbe chalet, spacieux, imppeccable, confortable, cuisine complète, magnifique lac paisible, et hôtes très gentils.

Beautiful spot!

The cleanliness of the chalet was immaculate! The interior is well appointed and comfortable. The area around the chalet is very private and the lakefront is beautiful. Caterina was a great host, she was on site when we arrived and even returned later to drop off charcoal so we could grill. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Charming chalet

This chalet is beautifully appointed; certainly one of the nicest interiors I've seen. The host is very welcoming and the supply of thick HBC towels, l'occitane hand products, and good quality cookware very hospitable. The chalet is actually larger than the photos on the listing would suggest.

Outstanding!

We rented the chalet for a second year in a row during the holidays. It was as amazing as the first time. Caterina is such a great host, she goes above and beyond to make sure everyone is safe, happy and comfortable. As usual, the place was spotless and we enjoyed a nice relaxing family getaway.
