This hotel has everything you need including ceiling fans which are better than air con. Fantastic breakfasts and a short walk to the best beach where you can use the cabanas from the Halos hotel. Its the best value hotel on the island too!

We loved this hotel. The staff are great. It’s cheap as chips compared to other hotels in the town( because) it’s a 5 min walk to the glorious beach where they have an arrangement with another hotel to use their cabanas! The rooms are modern, spacious with ceiling fans which are better than air con as they are quiet. We voted the breakfast here the best of the hol, from 3 !

La struttura ha rispecchiato le mie aspettative; la colazione potrebbe essere migliorata, la pulizia delle camere è risultata carente; quanto alla posizione sebbene vicina alla zona pedonale di Santamaria la sera l'area è poco illuminata. Ho apprezzato la gentilezza e disponibilità del personale della reception, in particolare di Alessia

Très mécontente
Je suis absolument déçue car j’ai eu quelques problèmes pour effectuer ma réservation et quand j’ai cliqué pour valider, je n’ai pas fait attention à la date. Je m’en suis aperçu avant mon départ. J’ai cherché par tous les moyens à contacter l’hôtel pour demander de reporter ma date de séjour du 25 au 30 décembre puisque mon séjour commençait seulement le 16 décembre. Je n’ai jamais eu de contacts ni de réponse de la part de cet hôtel. Donc j’ai perdu beaucoup d’argent et je ne recommencerai plus jamais à travailler avec Hotel.com

J’ai passé un très beau séjour. L’hôtel est propre. Les chambres sont spacieuses et confortable dotées d’une très bonne literie Petit déjeuner variés et copieux. Le personnel de l’hôtel est très agréable et à vos petits soins. Seul point négatif,Les chambres côté Sud sont très chaudes il faut un moment pour la clim et le ventilateur pour s y sentir bien Moi j’ai adoré, je recommande

Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereit Personal. Sauberkeit und Ordnung des Hotels bzw. Zimmer war auch sehr gut. Ab und zu haben Geräte, wie das Lift oder Klimaanlage nicht funktioniert, war aber fairerweise von äusserlichen Bedingungen abhängig. Das Hotel hat nur zwei Geschosse, von dem her alles OK. Das Essen war auch gut, wenn man die Verhältnisse des Landes berücksichtigt. Dafür im Hotel ist ein Restaurant (das Piri Piri) integriert. Das essen war sehr Fine und Preis/ Leistung Verhältnisse haben auch gestimmten. Der Strand ist zu Fuss in sehr gemütliche 10 Minuten erreichbar. Wer Wert auf Ruhe, Sicherheit, Sauberkeit, Erreichbarkeit und Preis/ Leistung-Verhältnisse legt, ist das Hotel eine sehr gute Wahl.

Good hotel, but...
Nice size room, very clean. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom had nice size. Balcony was very small. Cleaning every day. Small fridge/mini bar, sadly no price list were present for the mini bar. Nice backyard with sunchairs and a small pool. Staff were polite and helpful. Breakfast was disappointing. Limited choice and absolutely no variation during my two week stay. If you're a single traveller and want to take a visitor to your room - find another hotel. They charge you 25 EURO for bringing a visitor who is NOT allowed to stay the night...!

Had a fantastic eight nights, staff are so friendly and accommodating. Hotel is modern clean and with all the basics you require, Beach towels, toiletries, breakfast etc. Price was excellent as is the location just on the edge of town, 5 minutes walk to restaurants, the beach, shops etc - highly recommend

Wir waren schon mehrmals im Hotel Sobrado (Junior-Suite) und schätzen die grossen, hellen Zimmer, sowie den Balkon. Ebenso das gute Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Die Zimmer werden immer sehr sauber geputzt. Der Frühstücksraum könnte etwas lieblicher eingerichtet sein.

This hotel was clean and everything cleaned daily in room. The staff were fantastic,so friendly and helpful with everything you needed. The hotel had a sister hotel 5/10 mins away which had a lovely pool plus you could use their sunbeds on beach very near. The hotel was a 5/10 min walk into Santa Maria plus some restaurants really close by. We would highly recommend the Sobradi and it’s not overpriced. We left yesterday. Breakfast was perfectly adequate and set us up for the day

Das Hotel ist ein gutes 4-Sterne Hotel, wobei man die 4 Sterne nicht mit einem 4-Sterne Hotel in Deutschland gleichsetzen sollte. Manchmal funktioniert etwas nicht, aber wenn man es anmerkt, wird sich schnell darum bemüht es in Ordnung zu bringen, oder nachzubessern. Das Hotel ist je nachdem welches Zimmer man hat, an einigen Stellen etwas lauter, was aber eher mit der Lage, als mit dem Hotel zu tun hat. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut, aber der Kaffee könnte besser sein. Es gibt eine richtige Trägermaschine, bei der man den Espresso oder Cappuccino extra bestellen kann, aber bezahlen muss. Ist aber nicht so teuer wie in Deutschland und wenn man schon mal im Urlaub ist, dann kann man sich das gönnen. Die Angestellten sind alle sehr lieb und hilfsbereit! Obrigado:)

Positiv: Eigentlich nicht unfreundliches Personal in Hotel mit Baujahr 2018, von dem aus man dann auch eine schönere Gegend fußläufig erreichen kann. Für den Besuch des zur Hotelgruppe gehörenden Strands in weniger als 1 km Entfernung gibt es Handtücher mit auf den Weg. Das Sobrado ist vermutlich die bessere Wahl als das dazu gehörige Halos Resort, einfach, weil es kleiner ist. Warum das Hotel aber ein “Boutique-Hotel” sein soll, noch dazu mit 4 Sternen, bleibt ein Rätsel. Die Qualität der angebotenen Speisen in einem zweckmäßigen Raum mit Neonlicht-Amto war eher wie in einem Hostel, die haben heute aber zumindest oft in eine ordentliche Kaffeemaschine investiert… Lästig beim Checkout: Obwohl es klar dokumentiert war, dass die zwei Nächte bereits bezahlt waren, versuchte man, eine weitere in Rechnung zu stellen. So was kann natürlich passieren, passt aber leider zur Gesamterfahrung. Das Personal versucht halt sein Bestes, direkt unfreundlich war wirklich niemand.

Fast das ganze Personal besteht aus Einheimischen was ich super finde allerdings erschwert dies die Kommunikation auf Englisch. Die Lage des Hotels ist, wie online beschrieben, am Rand der Stadt man ist jedoch in 10 Gehminuten mitten im Zentrum oder am Strand. Das Frühstückabuffet sowie die Location für das Frühstück sind etwas lieblos und nicht sehr gut organisiert.

Hotel Sobrado is een vrij simpel hotel aan de rand van Santa Maria. Het is er stil, veilig en schoon. De kamers zijn van een redelijk normaal formaat en de bedden slapen prima. Het ontbijt is zeer simpel en heeft weinig keuze maar dat wat er is is wel lekker. De balkonnetjes zijn wel erg klein en we misten de mogelijkheid om daar lekker te kunnen zitten savonds. Het personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam, al is hun Engels niet heel sterk, maar dat heeft geen hinder opgelevert. Het hotel is op loopafstand van het centrum van Santa Maria en beschikt ook over een eigen stuk strand waar je als gast gebruik kunt maken van de bedjes en de schaduwdoeken, slechts op 10 min. Lopen. Al met al heel tevreden voor wat we kregen in verhouding tot het geld wat je ervoor betaald.

Albergo comodo per raggiungere il centro di Santa Maria a piedi in pochi minuti. Pulito e comodo in tutti i suoi aspetti . Camera molto spaziosa e bagno altrettanto. Molto silenzioso e pulito , lo consiglio vivamente . La colazione può essere migliorata .

Check in was impersonal and the room we were given had not been cleaned at all. I complained and we were given another room - 'sorry' - but the key thing here is that they weren't interested in even looking at the original room. The outside light on the very small balcony (no furniture!) could not be switched off and the light polluted the room - we we told that it switched off automatically at midnight - 'sorry'. The next day the hot water system leaked all over the bathroom. Again we complained and we were given another slightly better room - 'sorry' - this was three rooms in three days. As this time we had unpacked, moving rooms was time consuming and tedious. Again - 'sorry'. At no time during our stay did the management attempt to make contact and apologise in person. And breakfast - the staff had to be chased for absolutely everything each day for seven days - no glasses, cutlery - hot drinks had to be fetched individually from somewhere outside the breakfast space. The selection of food was very poor and would frequently run out. Staff at breakfast were very poorly trained - not even 'sorry' was offered. I cannot recommend this hotel.
