Cozy
Super cozy! Hot tub was awesome! Host was very friendly and communicated well. There was a freezer full of ice cream, homemade cookies, bread and jam! We go to salmon for hockey and the house was 2 minutes to the rink and a hot tub to warm up after!

Hockey tournament
We stayed for two days prior to a hockey tournament. The house was very well stocked with cookies and staples. We made some great hot meals and enjoyed the worm house with a great woodstove downstairs. Could not recommend it more highly.

A clean and comfortable stay
This is the second time my family has stayed here. The home is clean and comfortable with plenty of room. Close to the center of town and in a very quiet neighborhood. Excellent communication and the check-in process was easy. We will definitely stay here again!

Salmon fishing trip
The home and grounds were wonderful. Several deer visited us as well. The hot tub was a treat after being on the river. I have never stayed at a rental home that was so well stocked. Ice cream, fresh baked cookies, cereal, pasta, water etc. Fresh produce from the garden! Marva was a gracious host. We would definitely stay again and recommend to family and friends.

I scored!!!
I have stayed at many vrbo's before but this one is my favorite. It had such a wonderful ambience inside with all of the woodwork and so many things have been updated. The freezer in the kitchen was full of ice cream for you to help yourself there was water available snacks in the pantry all the condiments all the spices great appliances I couldn't ask for anything more I am so very much pleased that I stayed there. The owner even left a plate of homemade chocolate chip cookies on the counter with a handwritten note telling me how to contact her and welcoming me to the property. The property was very convenient to everything in salmon and was easy to find. I look forward to seeing again sometime in the near future.

The property was very clean and cozy. The host Marva was responsive and all the thoughtful extras were very nice. The area was beautiful and plenty to do. The people around town were so kind and the local restaurants had great food. I would definitely recommend it and return in the future.

Great Location for hockey tournament
Stayed here for a hockey tournament for my son and it worked great as a home base. We could walk to the rink which worked out great when our baby had to nap and we had to split up. The house was a great size with very comfortable furniture and the hot tub was great on a cold day. Was great for our family of 5!

Excellent Accommodations
We had a wonderful time staying at this cozy, but roomy home. It was clean and comfortable, and just as it was represented to be. The property manager was delightful and made us feel welcome. We will definitely stay here again and would highly recommend this property to anyone staying in the area.

Beautiful place!
The property is amazing. Feels like you are very secluded, yet in town. Hot tub was great and the yard was perfect for our kids to play in. House was very cozy, yet lots of room to spread out. Beds were comfortable and bedrooms were perfect for sleeping in. Host was very friendly and quick to respond to any questions we had. And the banana nut cake that was made for us was amazing!

I cannot say enough great things about this host and property. Marva put so much thought into making this the most comfortable and enjoyable stay. The home was spacious and clean with a wonderful backyard/garden area. Absolutely would recommend to anyone staying in the area!

Beautiful property, amazing hostess!
We were in Salmon visiting family and this house was perfect for our visit since we could just walk to Grandma and Grandpa's house. It was also a nice walk down to the main street, and very fun to look at all the old cute houses in the neighborhood. First off, the owner is AMAZING! She had fresh fruit, flowers, homemade cake, and a handwritten note to greet us. Our kids very so excited to find ice cream treats in the freezer, kid-friendly cereal in the cupboard, and special treasures in the sandbox outside. I was excited to find plenty of kitchen staples. When I needed to contact her, she was quick to respond. The house is very old but in a fun and interesting way. It was very comfortable and I wished we could have spent more time just relaxing at the house and in the garden. And the garden!!! Wow, it is so beautiful! It reminded me of "The Secret Garden". There were flowers blooming and fruit ripening and a veggie garden. There was soft grass for the kids to run around on, the afore mentioned sandbox (cleverly covered to keep it clean from cats), a swing set and other fun little things you'll just have to discover for yourself. The house has two bedrooms on the main floor and the third bedroom is down some steep stairs in the basement/root cellar. It worked fine for our family but something to be aware of if you want everyone sleeping on the same level. One night all our kids wanted to slumber party in the living room and found the couches very cozy too. We will definitely be staying here again the next time we come to Salmon!

Hidden perks
The house is as advertised and very comfortable and cozy. The perks blew us away. Home grown vegetables for our use, completely stocked condiments, stocked medicine cabnet, beers in the frig, laundry and dish detergent for our use and my favorite, Häagen-Dazs ice cream bars in the freezer. We should absolutely rent this again!

Very comfortable
Business brought us to Salmon for four days. We walked downtown, drove around in the nearby hills, and relaxed in the hot tub. The kitchen was well stocked for quick meals, plus there is a gas grill outside. We would stay there again.

Excellent, pleasant. Large shady yard to gather, play lawn games. Traditional shaded front porch. Wonderful gardens. Hostess offered additional kitchen treats, and 'help self from fruit and veg garden'. Well supplied kitchen, paper goods, grill - and hot tub! Location easy to Salmon River and outdoor activities. Would highly recommend to others.

Cute house. Great location.
We were in town for a hockey tournament. The proximity of the house to the rink was fantastic. It's a super cute, cozy house and worked out well for our group. Marva is fantastic to work with. I had asked if the property had a grill. She and her husband took the time to move the grill closer to the house in the snow! One of the best rentals we've had in Salmon. I highly recommend it.

An excellent retreat at Grandma's house
This was a very comfortable home, albeit a little dated, yet had all that you needed. It was a cozy setting, with a private hot tub perfect for observing the handful of local deer casually roaming the neighborhood.

Hockey weekend!
We had a Squirts hockey tournament over the weekend and so we (2 families) rented this great little house. Not only was it 1/2 mile away from the rink, it fit 4 adults and 2 kids perfectly! Marva was so responsive when we were there and very accommodating! The house was stocked with everything anyone could ask for. We will definitely rent again next time we're in Salmon.

Nicely landscaped, 3 bedroom, 1 bath house 0.8 miles from downtown. Owner requests that no shoes be worn inside this newly renovated home and no large groups of visitors. Neighbors are friendly. Quiet.
