My husband and I stayed here for a week and a half with our two dogs. We were able to check in early although there was a fee (also be prepared for a fee for every 30 min after 11 am — we were more than happy to leave and did not have to pay that).
1) Right when we arrived we noticed the space was incredibly small (the photos were taken with a wide or fish eye lens) and the couch almost touched the kitchen counter and in the main bedroom the bed was so close to the wall you had to shimmy in
2) The location was not well kept and I immediately took numerous photos and sent them to the owner (more on that later) - cabinets had wood peeling off, the couch had the seats torn up, the bedside “tables” had been ripped out of the wall and poorly placed back in
3) The bathroom window opens directly to the parking lot and the bath tub did not drain
4) The next door neighbors smoked weed constantly and the entire property smelled pervasively of cannabis
5) Dishwasher did not work
6) Broken blinds (as in some of the blinds were cut off)
FINALLY and most importantly: Although we contacted the owner many times, we were only once responded to by an actual human. All the responses we received were very obviously from a bot/Chat GPT. I am not sure why the VRBO platform allows a host on the platform who doesn’t actually host.
